No stars. Absolute worst gel manicure experience of my life...2 weeks prior I had gotten a gel manicure at this horrible place and had an okay experience but still left a $20 tip for a regular gel manicure. The following experience the nail tech didn't clean or cut my cuticles at all and when he started painting my nails I asked why he hadn't cut my cuticles yet, following with a response of him and his colleagues speaking in non English for a few minutes then another employee responding to me, "that's not how we do it here, we cut your cuticles after the gel is finished." I then asked them why didn't you do that last time I was here 2 weeks ago? I've had over probably 100 manicures in my life and have never had the cleaning of my cuticles after. It was a complete and utter fuck you to me and everyone knew they were lying. They still charged me full and didn't do what was right. I was completely robed of a proper gel manicure. This is literally the first negative review I've ever given. I don't write reviews but this experience was so utterly disrespectful that I want to save another person from taking the small time they have for themselves to stay clear from this disgusting place. Most horrific nail experience of my life. Shame on the owners and workers not doing the right thing. Like I said when I left, do the right thing. Fantasy Beauty And Spa is an absolute lie and disgrace to South Bay.

I went twice and they ruined my nails, it's been months and I'm still recovering from the damage they did. I had dipped nails and in a rush they filed off the gel and my nail bed along with it. My nails were so damaged, I won't go into detail, but it's been months and I can still see where the nail bed was filled so low, I have a few more months for them to grow all the way out to be completely healed. Save yourself the trouble I went through and find a different place.

Unfortunately wasn’t worth the cost with tip $147 ($20 was tip; $127 for REGULAR POLISH) for Royal manicure+Pedicure (i.e. not gel) cut my finger and toe cuticles so shorty I bled and it’s open

The Worse costumer service ever!! . I got a gel manicure a day before christmas 2023 and it started bubbling up next day. I not only had to have peeled nails over the holiday, but was mistreated the next day. , I went back to have them redone and chose a different color since now is going to be New years, the owner demanded I have the same red color or she was going to charge me $15 extra. she treated me as I was a cheater, her tone of voice and attitude sucks, she assumed that I came back to have my nails repainted for free and was very rude. after paying originally $40 plus $6 tip, she wanted an extra $15 for their mistake and got treated rudely and with disrespect. I am so mortified by this woman's behavior. I have been in the beauty industry for over 30 years and have never experienced this money hungry attitude. I get that there is people that do that but I would never assume everyone is, specially a returning client.

They spent over an hour removing my gel and destroyed my nails with a drill in the process. They broke 2 nails and the rest were filed thin. They sent over 3 people that were hovering over me while telling me nothing about what was going on. I asked to leave them as is and told them I would like to leave. They then proceeded to charge me $20 when I asked them to stop.

This place is over priced I got my hair dyed here just to find out I paid all that money for boxed hair dye. I also got my nails done here & picked a clear pink and the lady said she couldn’t do it because it was too light so she picked a different pink and since when are fills $60? A full set is $70 such a rip off and I didn’t even get what I wantedServices: Manicure

This salon was recommended by a friend. I received a gift certificate for a pedicure and they were very accommodating and scheduled my appointment for the day after Christmas. That is a very busy time of year but they made it happen as I live out of state now and only come back a few times a year to visit family. Lisa was amazing. She worked for an hour on legs and feet and she was so good. When I left I felt like I was walking on air. Next time I'm in LA, I'm definitely making an appointment before I leave so I don't need to over tax them. Highly recommend !!

Really great salon in the South Bay! Beautifully atmosphere, comfortable spa chairs, you just feel like you're at a nice salon. They have TONS of colors to pick from whether you are doing polish or dip or gel- like I mean so many you'll get overwhelmed! They also have tons of staff so whenever I've come in as a walk in I've been able to receive service pretty quickly like within 15 minutes even at busier times (but still always make a reservation when you can). All the staff are very friendly and skilled and I swear my dip never lasted longer and they don't make it look all bulky like other salons do. Highly recommend!

Horrible experience! I do not agree with their sterilization process because it doesn’t seem that they have one. They also ask for cash payments only but do not have an atm. The next day I noticed 5 swollen cuticles. I cannot recommend.

They decided to remove my gel-x by ripping them off instead of soaking them. They are now completely damaged. One of my nails ripped down the center, and then they decided to try and charge me for this, even though I still had part of my gel-x on. When I expressed that I was bleeding, the "manager" laughed at me. She also laughed at me when I said I did not want them to super glue my bleeding nail.

My gel manicure normally last at least 2 weeks. My polish started coming up at the base after a week. I went in to ask them to fix it and they didn't want to fix it. Not worth it.
