on Thursday this week I dropped off a prescription for pain pills from my back Doctor Who will be doing some outpatient surgery on me as soon as the MRI comes back on Friday I had oral surgery in the oral surgeon gave me some pain pills for my mouth... When I brought the prescription in on Friday. The pharmacist said I had already gotten one yesterday and they said yes that was for my back for when I have back surgery. This is for my mouth for the next couple days because I had mouth surgery and I'm not allowed to take anti-inflammatories due to some blood issues I'm having... She called my dentist and told him I got pain pills a day before so he canceled the prescription... He made it seem that I was an attic and all I was trying to do is get pills. I've lived in Hermosa since 1998, and this is the rudest that anybody has ever been to me and insulted my integrity! I picked up my prescription for my antibiotics and went out to my car and had a breakdown... So I got to lay in my bed all night long in pain because I was not able to do anything about it and or take over-the-counter meds! Thank you for embarrassing me and also looking at me with discussed I will never ever go in the Hermosa CVS at 1:55 PCH because I feel I was discriminated against! Thank you for listening. Everything locked up and trying to find an employee to unlock the case for $7 deodorant is a pass for me. Your issues with loss prevention are not my problem. Make shopping inconvenient and I'll go to ANY other store in the area

I moved from the Valley to Hermosa Beach recently. They sent my prescription to the Valley CVS and no one could help me, not even that CVS. However, Leila (the Pharmacy Manager) at the Hermosa Beach location was super nice and resolved my transfer issue within two minutes. She is very professional and seems to get things done around there. I had my prescription within 15 minutes. Shout out to Leila! Give her a raise, CVS pharmacies must retain good talent. Not all stand equal in my experience.

I have gone to this pharmacy for years--picked up my prescriptions no problem but the service was so lacking in this case I feel compelled to post a review. Here's my story. I was told I might need a TB test in order to visit the school my daughter teaches at. I called my pharmacy to see if that was something that was available. After being on hold for 15 minutes I was advised the pharmacy was now on lunch break and not available. Ultimately I spoke to an associate who told me to call back to the pharmacy later as they had no information. I did and after another 15 minutes or so reached someone at the pharmacy. Sounded like a nice guy but told me they did not offer that service but that there was a location close by that did. When I mentioned the long wait time in teaching a real person, he gave me the number and suggested I just press 6. I called but that did not work. I was informed to be patient and someone would pick up the phone. This went on for 48 minutes. I would have hung up but I guess I was curious to see exactly how long I would remain on hold. Ultimately, after 48 minutes, someone picked up but, according to them they were not the store in question but "minute clinic" and I would have to go on line to make an appointment. There's more but just wanted to advise others what they are facing.

CVS sells fraudulent gift cards. Do not trust the store/company. No assistance is given to customers. They do not take responsibility for the products putting on their shelves and, therefore, no reimbursement of any kind is given to its customers.

Not sure why CVS is listed as a place to get a passport photo. I got the excuse “the cameras broken”. Yeah, maybe I would have believed it when I heard that the first time. But this was the second CVS that’s said this to me.

This CVS is wonderful . The store is clean and for its size has many last minute needs. The pharmacy is excellent however some of the new pharmacists lack the people skills of those I have grown accustomed to. Hopeful they will improve becaise the rest of the store staff is really on top of things.but beyond that all is good.

I am new in area. I had my prescription transferred to this CVS from my old CVS. I walked in to pick up that prescription and I did not see the big sign that said pharmacy, it was my first time in the store. And I asked the cashier, I later found out her name is Bridgette. She told me in a demeaning tone, "right over there where it says Pharmacy" I started to walk to that area and as this was the highlight of her sad life I her her tell the person that was checking out. I was waiting in line At pharmacy and now wish I had let it all go. I left the line deciding I'm not spending a dime in the store and went to Bridgette and asked her name, I asked for her manager, Mike who also lacks customer service skills and I just left. I'll have my prescription transferred to a different pharmacy and at a minimum will not go that CVS.

The employees here are fantastic and polite. So please believe me when I say, take the negative reviews with a LARGE grain of salt. I witnessed it myself tonight. They kept cool dealing with the upmost TRASH clientele. I have such respect for the women here. It's not hard to be decent, but it IS most definitely hard to deal with the bs these employees put up with. This is my neighborhood cvs and I'm a forever fan.

Tried to see if CVS has a drug in stock for my daughter who is sick. Pharmacist Leila was rude gave me the run around. She refused to tell me if they have Tamiflu in stock and insisted that the doctor call in first and then she would let me know. Are you kidding me! Most of my interactions staff at cvs has been a disappointment. They have been turned into robots and no longer work with compassion or heart. You are in the health care business. Please operate with some compassion.
