Bye bye Bank of America Hermosa Beach. I've been your client for more than 40 years. Sad you are closing.

I'm a Preferred Rewards Diamond level BoA customer. So I should expected great service. I tried unsuccessfully for more than a month to get a simple 2 sentence bank reference letter to open an international bank account. I explained what I needed, why a bank statement wouldn't work, and provided an example from another bank. BoA's process is to send documentation requests to a back office group that has standarized templates. The person I spoke to at the branch didn't know what would be sent to me. I was sent many iterations of form letters than I was clear upfront wouldn't work and had to wait 1 week each time to know what they sent me was what I said I didn't need. Not sure if the issue is this branch or BoA process inflexibility. But when the issue was escalated to a manager and then the branch manager it made no difference. Very disappointing experience.

101 days! That is how long it has been since I was devastated by an online scam that robbed me of approx $290,000... This whole sequence of events has seen BofA lie and provide excuse after excuse as to why they cannot help me. This bank lacks integrity, transparency and the decency to make an effort for victims like myself. I have been told by Kyle C, Client Care Executive Response Team, at BofA that, as of June 16, my inquiry was closed. Brittany Monroe, Senior Claims Executive Manager, at BofA, has also informed me, that she is in agreement with Kyle's findings and that the case is closed. I am in shock by the total crap I am fed by these so called "Executive Managers". BofA continues to hide behind their polices that serves noone but themselves. I have initiated my social media campaign. You will see daily posts on a wide range of platforms. My objective is to warn consumers about the horrific policies and procedures of Bank of America. More evidence came to light yesterday on CNN about Bank of America and their dishonest and deceptive business practices. They are now in the crosshairs of the Feds for harming customers by double-dipping on fees, withholding credit card rewards and opening fake accounts, all of which are violations of various consumer financial protection laws. The facts are the facts: BofA refuses to change their 90-day policy they say it could take to address a fraud situation. I talked to Brittany at BofA about this policy just today. She had nothing to offer whatsoever. Brittany is just a mule for BofA, as are so many that work for Bank of America. At the end of the day, a 90-day window makes me and every other fraud victim dead in the water from the very beginning. It is all wasted effort as these situations have to be addressed immediately and with extreme urgency. As documented, we reached out to Blue Ridge Bank (the money was fraudulently wired to this bank in Luray, VA) on April 4 and Paula Baird at Blue Ridge expressed that the funds were in the account and that the account had been frozen. It took BofA 11 days to reach out to Blue Ridge. These sequence of events are horrific. I have only had $153,000 returned. I have lost approx $137,000 (plus my $47,000 good faith deposit) and my house that I had planned to purchase with this money. I have spent hundreds of hours dealing with attorneys and people at both BofA and Blue Ridge banks. In a nutshell, this has been all consuming. Yet, BofA continues to play games that only protect themselves. There are HUGE systemic and culture problems at BofA. The dysfunction at BofA is palpable and the improprieties are rampant. I will continue to pursue what is right and fair...

I wish bank relationship managers here were better trained at this branch. The lady at the front appears to not know answers to most basic questions that the Manhattan beach location handled easily and readily. Furthermore, when looking at my California identification, she could not tell what my first name is, even though on the drivers license it's clearly labeled first name.Lastly, the manager here was useless as well.Overall, this place needs to better train their team to match the Bank of America's in the area.Quite unacceptable.

Mirna the old lady with the Ucla hat was extremely rude and didn't want to let me withdraw cash. I had my wallet stolen and didn't have any of cards and she refused to help me without a picture ID. She was unprofessional pls avoid this place.
