The teller line is usually fairly quick. Just wish they were open on Saturdays.

Terrible service. You have to wait forever to get any sort of help and need to make an appointment for everything, including accessing your safe deposit box. The business hours are not reasonable for working individuals.

Bank of America is the worst bank when it comes to customer service. They do not have their client's interest at heart. They are all about passing the buck claiming it's regulation to avoid helping / make a transaction easy on a client. I spoke to a manager and he basically told me in so many words that he could not help me and I needed to go find a different method to send my money to an international account . Super frustrating to deal with "big banks"

Needed to cash a check to make a purchase and after being interrogated what I need the cash for from Ashlee, she ask for assistance from upper management Ron just to be told what to do from Ashlee. Bad service don't come here.

The bank has been closed since the start of the pandemic and is only open by appointment. I scheduled an appointment to access my safe deposit box. The bank manager, Javonnie Pinkney, was unfamiliar with the vault and called for a manager in Pinole to come open it. After a lot of back-and-forth between them they got it open and slooooly processed the people waiting to access their boxes. They are not tied into their data system so signing in to access the box took longer than if you were trying to withdraw money. They also had to write down the names of who accessed the boxes on a piece of paper. Took us an hour from our appointment time to access our box and get out of there. We asked why the bank was still closed and we were told it was due to the coronavirus. I said that couldn't be it because neither of the 2 bank attendents were wearing masks. Then I was told it was because they were doing bank renovations. They had 2 years to do renovations and they are just doing them now? If I didn't need a safe deposit box I would have switched from B of A a long time ago.

Very rude Branch Manager. One Saturday a couple of years ago, people were waiting for the bank to open. Clearly they were late in opening up for business and people were agitated. A customer said “ it’s about time someone showed up”. The manager’s response was: “you’re lucky I’m here” instead of apologizing.

Bank of America sucks. Amongst the major banks, they are the only one keep the local branch closed. I am closing all my accounts and moving to Chase.

I don't think Bank of America care about their customer, They close the branch at Hercules, there is the only one office in the city,It is very hard to get access into the safety box as well.I am thinking to close all of my account at Bank of America.I will not recommended anyone to use this Bank anymore

Bank has been closed since March because of covid? Not a valid excuse. Had to go to Pinole branch to take care of business. I asked them why Hercules branch has been closed almost all year and they told me that it was staffing issues. Nobody to run the bank, everyone quit. I heard that management was very poor there and couldn't hold an employee for more than a few months because of constant issues. We need our bank back or we will be pulling our money out and going elsewhere.

bank of america is horrible, and there is no other excuse that i can pretend to give excuses for their lousy internal services. i have always felt that there were opinions which did not warrant validation or my personal support. however, next to wells fargo bank they are the a close follower when it comes to poor service.

I can't get help from anyone of the branch to get into the safe boxes room to take out an important document for a urgent case!

1 star for changing hours then closing down indefinitely to virus. Would never recommend to anyone such an unreliable disappointment of a banking service. Just know when things go wrong, they will not be there for you.

This Branch always has a line out the door and only one teller actually assisting customers even though there are multiple employees in the teller station. Employees have no sense of urgency to move quickly to process transactions and are rude to customers when they ask questions. Does not matter what time of day or day of week they are super slow.

This review is specifically about the branch manager, Javonnie. She literally saved my day and a stressful situation I was going through with having to close my account due to someone attempting fraudulent activity, and opening a new one. I needed to square the new account away ASAP in order to give my employer my new direct deposit form for my check that was due to hit my old account just a few days later. I walked in the branch and within minutes Javonnie quickly and efficiently took care of everything that I needed, literally wiping away the stress I was going through in just the nick of time. Thank you, Javonnie! You definitely saved me from that very stressful situation.
