I decided to post a review since another user had the same experience with the pharmacy as they did.
Note, the store itself is fine and the employees are nice.
But the pharmacy, as another stated, is completely irresponsible and just plain lazy. I had 4 prescriptions to fill. All four went to this pharmacy. I’ve had this same prescription for a year. My previous CVS pharmacy in Alhambra was great. Everytime my prescription was sent in, I got texts, and the app was updated immediately at every step. I could easily see when my prescription was ready to pick up.
This one however gave me nothing but strife. So I got the message in the CVS app my prescription was ready. So I go in to pick them up. They give me 2 of the four. 1 wasn’t in stock and the 4th they said they never got authorization to fill it. When my doctor sends this prescription monthly for me. After a year she suddenly forgets? So I ask if they called the doctor. They tell me “we did. They didn’t answer.” That was the extent of their effort for a prescription they received. So I said “so.. should I call my doctor then to get it authorized?” The female employee said “you can. Sometimes helps”. Apparently they try once then give up.
So I call my doctor. They told me the pharmacy never called them. Which I believe since this office is open until 6pm and they always have someone there to answer. Anyway, I asked them to call the pharmacy again.
The doctor resent the prescription. This is day two now for 1 prescription. Which the app told me was ready with my other ones yesterday. So again. I check the app later in the day. It says it’s filled. So I come in Again to pick it up. She hands me 1 that was back ordered and that was it. I pretty annoyed at this point and told her “I have two ready for pickup, says so on the app”. She doesn’t bother to check anything and rudely says “that’s all we have.” . That’s it. No information why my other prescription wasn’t ready. So I ask her “why is my other prescription that I came in yesterday to pick up not ready???” She says “oh, your insurance billed it to the other CVS. So we can’t bill it.” Again that’s all she says. I ask her “are you pharmacy? Are you not supposed to fill prescriptions you receive?” She says “well there’s nothing we can do. Another CVS filled it.” And I’m shocked her laziness. “Can you call them then to cancel the prescription or something? All four came here. You filled three. You made me call my doctor for the fourth FOR YOU..” The pharmacist overheard this and asks what’s going on. The rude female employee says I can talk to the pharmacist at the other window since apparently she was done doing nothing. I explain all this to the pharmacist. He says “well. Another CVS filled it. So we can’t do anything about it”. They can’t call their own store? They really had 0 intention of filling this prescription and 0 intention of informing the patient of the issues.
I had to call everyone for this store. They offered no apology for taking three days to fill a simple prescription that their own app said was filled. Needless to say I won’t come back to this pharmacy even though it’s 5 minutes away. I’d rather drive further to not have to deal with this unethical, rude, inept pharmacy.
Should get 1 star. But the store itself is fine..

I switched my prescriptions from Walmart here yesterday and am so glad that I did. We came in, and there was no line, which is Always great. The ladies who helped me were very nice and informative. I read past reviews and was expecting the worst, so maybe.... it was the way they were treated... I don't know. Either way, they were kind to me. Instead of paying $20.00 at Walmart here, I only paid $5.00. What a huge difference! What I did learn is that there is: 1. There is no cash back at the pharmacy section 2. $35 cash back at the regular register per transaction. 3. There are a lot of coupons printed on the receipt. Thank you, pharmacy ladies, for making it a great experience for me.

One of the most irritating pharmacy to get your meds from. The pharmacists here don't help or want to bother helping with your needs. They have the worst attitude and are quick to say they don't have your meds without investigating why they might not have them.

Horrible wouldn't take a discount even though it was on their website/app horrible pharmacist they should receive more training on many things. The other cvs are fine I've dealt with and everyone else in the store is great

I regularly visit CVS for prescriptions. It is also a convenient place to visit for a candy fix! Or dog treats! (If they have them in stock.). I also find myself looking at other things they have (shampoo, health care products, liquor, soda, office supplies, clothing, women's items such as makeup, vitamins, etc,...). Did I miss anything? (They have much more!)The staff is ALWAYS friendly, helpful, and courteous. I always see them busy but they will always answer questions, and/or help. It is great since there are times I forget my list and I wind up remembering an item when they ask if I found everything.It is so enjoyable to shop here because of the well trained staff. There are times I find something marked down so I save even more. If I move I know the CVS brand will have well trained courteous staff. I will miss the individuals I have learned to recognize.Always a 5 star rating because they earn it each time!!!

The CVS payment system is not accepting the Aetna Medicare OTC/Payflex benefit which I'm supposed to use at CVS. According to Aetna, the problem is that CVS has not updated their system to accommodate the benefit. Very frustrating,

I literally work right next to cvs I go on my break to get one item and the worker there moved so slow had a bunch of people and just didn’t care I see why people don’t come here takes to long to get helped

I think Renae is the best employee ever. We struggle for years copying pictures and always get stuck. If Renae is working, she always has a smile and helps us every time I know she's worked there for years, but she's always beenfriendly to us!
