A friend in Hemet experienced sudden loss of his loved ones and as I was out of the town. So I decided to placed an order online for a sympathy flower arrangement. The online process was very smooth and the arrangement with the message was delivered next day. Thanks for helping us and sending such a beautiful gesture to our friend in need!

Yesterday I ordered flowers for a friend from City Florist and Gift Shop. It was a great shopping experience. The customer services who answered my call was friendly and offer me several bouquet suggestions for her birthday. I chose to send a mixed flower arrangement in a vase. My friend who received the fresh and beautiful flowers in Hemet was delighted with them. Thank you for the service and now I can say we have found our best local florist.

I’m usually not a person that leaves reviews but my experience was so horrible with this company that I must WARN anyone who is spending money with this establishment. I bought flowers that were over 100 dollars. They call me and are so rude!! They told me the number that I had on file for who it would be delivered too was wrong, and once I verify that the number was correct. They cut me off while talking to say well we don’t have the flowers in that you want. We only have red and white. I let them know I picked the color on purpose because it was my little sisters favorite who passed away and I’m send it to my parents. So they said we’ll call back tomorrow, if it is in and deliver the flowers. Needless to say it was a lot of back and forth and now it’s day three and they call wanting me to pay more for delivery. Horrible service, no compassion, and lack of accountability. This company deserves to be such down, nobody deserves this kind of service!

Terrible customer service. On their site says located in hemet but isn’t. Wasted time and money going to the address. Called their number for them to say they are no longer located in hemet. I asked “oh because the address on the site says” and got cut off. The man was rude Sighed then hung up on me. I gave no attitude or disrespect. Not professional.

Here is another terrible review of this place, as if it needed any more. Please don't go here - everything about it is awful. None of the flower arrangements look anything like the picture but even worse, the staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. They are slow to respond and not accommodating in any way. When I complained by email that the customer service was terrible, an employee called to yell at me and tell me that I was wrong for thinking that. I was absolutely appalled. After getting very angry that I was dissatisfied, he hung up. This is the first time I have dealt with such unprofessional staff. I cannot think of a single good thing to say about this place. Every part of the process was awful. The flower delivery was embarrassing (tiny and ugly bouquet for something I paid over $100 for) and the flower shop was even worse at dealing with an unsatisfied customer. Calling your customers to yell at them for saying you were unprofessional is hardly a way to seem more professional. I don't even understand why they are still in business. Avoid this.

Last week I ordered a bouquet of flowers from City Florist in Hemet, on behalf of my office for a coworker who'd had a death in the family. We ordered the medium sized Victorian Romance arrangement directly from their website. What was delivered was not nearly as nice and sophisticated. They replaced every single flower without informing us. They gave us white roses instead of cream colored ones. They replaced the lavender color wax flowers with pink dyed baby's breath and instead of the graceful and elegant ivy, they gave us your average green filler. For this they charged nearly $100, which included a delivery fee of $11.99. The card was hand written in a very sloppy handwriting, not done in a printer. Sophistication lacked all around. When my friend sent me a photo of the flowers she received I was very disappointed and embarrassed. I immediately called the shop and I was told that the owner, Paul, would contact me the next day and that they hand write all their cards like that. Paul did call and was very surprised that I was a dissatisfied customer. He tried to make amends by sending my friend a house plant in a 7" pot at no charge. I had to point out that the plant he was suggesting cost no more than $15 at Home Depot and certainly wasn't worth the $99 we'd spent. After much discussion, we agreed that he would send a three house plant arrangement in a 10" basket. He agreed to first send me a photo of it. When the email arrived he sent a photo of only one plant and suggested that instead he send a vase of Star Gazing Lilies and pick up the old vase from the first arrangement (which was nearly a week old at this point.) I found this last part very tacky. I asked him to stick to the original plan of three plants in a basket and asked him to please not embarrass my office further by asking for the old vase back. He agreed and then proceeded to ask me to please post a review on Google since he had been very accommodating, so here I am. I believe that we, the consumers have a responsibility to support small, independent businesses such as this one, but in turn they have the responsibility of informing us when what we pay for is not available. I wish I had ready the reviews on Yelp before doing business with this florist. Paul, if you are reading this, please buy yourself a printer and please make it a habit to inform your customers on the availability of what they have ordered from you. To his credit, the three plant arrangement was delivered today and it was exactly as he had said it would be. Is it worth $100? I don't think so.
