“Carousel of Kids Preschool is wonderful. Our son was there daily from April 2009 to July 2011 except vacations. Despite developmental delays and ADHD, he was treated exceptionally well and grew and developed much better than he would have staying at home. 6 months before starting school he started on a Kindergarten schedule, sitting at a desk, working on reading and numbers. They helped him quit napping mid-day. It was a fantastic preschool. Prior to Carousel in a much larger city we had our son in 5 different day cares. None of them could hold a candle to Carousel, and all were more expensive.”

“My son came midterm last year. We have had a great experience so far. They have several options to help with individual learning needs of the students. Small close community school atmosphere, but Not too small without options of larger school. NO trouble at ALL of many of the public schools in high Desert area of fighting, etc. Staff keeps parents very informed, offers free transportation, even a late bus when tutoring is needed. Verizon is NOT blocked, it is just happens to be a bad service area, I have Verizon and have used my phone in certain spots, school has no control over cell site reception of course, just need the "can you hear me now" guy needs to do something about service. :) We have never felt kids were unsafe, school immediately took precautions and locked down school, called ALL emergency contacts, and sent text message on the ONE occasion that there was an attempted robbery of a store in Helendale, not even close to school, but just as a precaution until police found person, and then called back within the hour when it was over....most schools wouldn't have even took action on a situation of that distance away and severity. But school has ALWAYS kept us in the loop, and kids can use office phone anytime their cell phone doesn't have service. Text messages work fine on our verizon phone there.Lastly, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because we haven't had a long enough history yet, and some electives have been full, but great high school experience so far. I have recommended school to my personal friends.”
