I have had cats all my life. I had 7 cats at once. I loved it. I went to adopt a black kitten today. I told them I had a 4 year old cat. She let me view the kittens and I was looking for a black cat and she was beautiful. I brought her out. I was chastised for that. They all follow you when you try and leave so its hard to get out. One escaped. Then, I come back out and she says I am not recommending you adopt her. She likes to chase the other cat in there, I am beyond upset. They are worse than animal control, I told her before I went in I had a cat. She obviously had a personal issue with me. She said there are other cats you can look at. They were all in different rooms. She didnt even offer me to have her if I adopted her friend.

This place claims that it cares abour animals or human beingsI am human economic waste. Which is a byproduct of capitalism i used to pay taxes but my classification changed when I retiredBut my 10 year old Seal Point Siamese who is my emotional support companion that I have had since he was 6 weeksWhy doesn’t his life matter to these people, is it because he technically homelessI guess we will suffer and die together since we are both seniorsAnd I was told if I want care for him either I pay out of pocket or he will suffer and dieSo if you believe they care about all animalsYou are being lied to and deceivedIf you donate to these people, you will soon learn that you are fool which just was parted from his money. They only care about animals who come from rich homes.Prince Henry has always had prefect checkups at the vetI guess it meant for him to suffer and die from something that is treatableAnd the propke at the Hearldsburg location are the worse people to ever walkthe face of this earth

Very friendly staff and animals that seem to be well taken care of, I played with a black short hair kitten named Jazz which was fun. He seemed like a friendly little fellow.

The Humane Society is THE place to go whether you've found a lost or stray animal, or want to adopt a new member of the family.

My Partner and I went in hoping to find our five month old kitten a companion. We luckily left with the sweetest boy Oliver. (formerly known as Wooly) The experience here was perfect, clean, easy, and welcoming. Oliver is now adjusting with his new brother Theo perfectly and we couldn’t be happier! Easily the best shelter we have been into.
