“Full service lumber and all types of building supplies. They have a lot of general hardware too- nuts and bolts, etc. There is a big selection of pro grade builder's tools. Healdsburg lumber serves their professional contractor customers very well and it's also a great place for DIY homeowners like me. They're very helpful and friendly. Everything about this store and the shopping experience is a big cut above the giant home center down the road. Plus, you get all this high quality at competitive prices.”
“We’ve been going to the True Value in Guerneville for years and the people working there are always great. Today we stopped by to pick up some paint and such for house projects that we need done soon. Dani gave us a lot of good advice for the paint and even provided us a recipe for some turkey chili while the paint was mixing! We definitely recommend this True Value, it’s one of our go-to spots whenever we’ve got a project.”
“Best place for all odd hardware. Great selection of nuts and bolts for your specific needs. Best place I've found to get propane tanks filled or exchanged. Very cool selection of vintage military items and fire hose nozzles, as well as, modern nozzles and fire fighting equipment.”

The staff is very knowledgeable about items and if they are unsure about anything they call someone in who is an expert. Fun store to shop in for sure. The current manager at the Windsor CA location is also awesome and always willing to help people out. Their selections for everyday things including clothing, farm goods as well as home goods is well above the par. I am a lifetime customer here as long as they don't sell my kids chickens.......”

“These guys are great. I was torn between buying all my lumber at Home Depot or buying it at Golden State. Golden State had a lot more of the unusual stuff in stock, and Mark was extremely patient with me, which I really appreciate. Prices were comparable to Home Depot and he said they have better lumber, so I went with them. A wonderful guy name Davy in the yard spent an hour and a half with me while I meticulously picked out about a hundred straight and mold-free pieces. Im super happy with the lumber and I’m happy and grateful for their expert, patient help. When was the last time you could say that about Home Depot?”
“So this wonderful supply store has those items in life you never new you needed, of wish you didn't. Waddles, sand bags, etc things you end up needing if you live in Sonoma County after a while. Courteous, Helpful and well versed in all things industrial, Omar was understanding of my needs for water barriers at my home. I felt much more confident in my DYI storm management and I feel the prices for what I got were fair and a lot less expensive then I imagined. Really very inexpensive but effective . I received personal service again in the yard when Chris delivered to my truck the waddle and sandbags. Top notch business and staff, great prices and a fantastic resource when it comes to inclement atmospheric rivers!”

“I visited the Windsor store instead of Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park because they had the items in stock. On arrival I could not find the insulation that appeared online. A Hone Depot associate was called and he found the palette on top of the rack and proceeded to get it down. He even loaded the 20 rolls onto my cart an assisted me to the checkout line. Thanks David, you're the type of employee they need more of. Hoping you advance and pass along your caring nature to others.”
