Stayed for one night. No receptionist or valet service when arrived. Was told by serving staff at Spoon Bar someone will be with me soon. Service was very slow. It seems the hotel staff serve two hotels. For the price, I did not expect to wait such a long time to get checked in. Staff, when they arrived, were polite and helpful. Senior management need to prioritize customers not their margins.
I wasn't going to write a review, as the hotel has it's own review process. However, I was unable to submit my review to the company, because I ticked on the 'not willing to recommend' box. It is a mandatory box and while I did signal on the range it seems it wasn't a good enough rating for the company to accept the review - it won't submit (see jpg attached).

I had a terrible and most unprofessional experience during my stay at this hotel. I stayed here from June 05th until June 07 2024. At the time of checking in, which incidentally was done by the manager himself, I had informed him of my tax exempt status which he acknowledged and correctly informed me that in CA a tax exemption form needs to be filled up which he did not have and would be requesting his central office to send to him immediately and that he would contact me after receiving this form. The day later I reminded front desk about this. They had no further info for me but made a note for me to be acted upon. The third day at time of check out, still nothing and nobody touched this topic. Annoyed I inquired again about this and the receptionist agreed to call the manager. When he came out he informed me that he is unable to honor the tax exemption. When asked why not, he resorted to false claims, excuses and lies and tried to side track me with untrue statements. My subsequent attempts to contact Piazza Hospitality has also produced no result as my messages have remained unanswered.

This modern hotel is right there in downtown Healdsburg, within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, wine tasting rooms, etc. The hotel itself is excellent and we really enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and balcony was a great bonus. Service was very good overall. Complimentary continental breakfast was great as well. I can highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back!

This hotel is located right in the heart of downtown Healdsburg. It’s walkable to tons of restaurants, shops, wineries, and bars. The rooms are a good size and have a balcony. The beds were slightly hard which was the only negative. I feel like towels are a way that I judge a hotel and H2’s towels were big and plush. Definitely what I look for in a hotel towel. One thing I loved was that snacks in the room were free and could be replenished! Appreciated that little perk.
We ate breakfast at the hotel and it was really good. Service was a little slower, but after wine tasting, it was a nice pace.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
Walkability: This hotel is incredibly walkable. It’s about a block away from the square where there are activities, shops, restaurants, wineries, bars, etc.

Hip and classy hotel. Modern but comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Enjoyed relaxing in the pool after a day of biking and wine tasting. Location is great with many restaurants and the town square within 5 min walk. Complimentary continental breakfast is simple but perfect with fruits, pastries, granola.

Perfect location, friendly staff, casual atmosphere. Comfortable room. Only big negative is the AC low of 68 is too warm at night.

Great location, friendly staff, room was done except the bathroom ceiling exhaust fan was inoperable. I reported it several times during our 2 night stay, but it was not repaired. The hotel is on the main road through town, and there was a lot of street noise -- traffic and pedestrian voices -- on Saturday night. So, the location is close to great restaurants, but noisy on weekend evenings.

Location is perfect and the rooms are nicely decorated. Bed and pillows were comfortable. We had the cheaper rate that put our room facing the street which can be noisy and a bother for some. There are interior rooms that you can choose or be sure to request when booking. The only down side of the room is the lack of counter space in the bathroom. However, they provide a couple snacks and a bottle of wine for free.We were there during the holidays and the lobby was decorated and felt cozy. The staff was very friendly and super helpful.

Updated review 10/13/23Once again disappointed to hear from manager, Jonathan Uribe (in the form of a public reply to a poor review) when we have been directly reaching out to management and being ignored. I'm so tired of being gaslit about the experience we had at your hotel. As for the VOICEMAIL (not phone call), not once did Jonathan apologize for our experience but rather asked TWICE for entry into our room to search our belongings to ensure they belonged to us. I have never been accused of theft by a hotel, especially one that lost my things to begin with. I'm also confused as to why the urgent matter of lost luggage is mine to resolve "urgently and efficiently" as I'm a guest of the hotel, not an employee. Also, your general manager did not offer "a bottle", he offered Champagne then brought us $13 pharmacy Prosecco. Alongside that "Champagne", we were given a $50 Spoonbar voucher that excluded TAX. You want guests paying taxes on a gift? Smells broke. And that complimentary dinner that was offered to us was at Spoonbar, which was CLOSED the day he offered it. This restaurant also offers zero vegetarian options, which is why we initially declined before realizing that it was entirely closed. Seems like something a general manager should know. That's not a resolution, but rather a slap in the face. To any guest looking to enjoy a wine country trip, I'd highly recommend avoiding any property managed by Piazza Hospitality Group. This includes H2Hotel, Hotel Healdsburg, Harmon Guest House, Hotel San Luis Obispo, and the (coming soon) Hotel Sebastopol. While our initial complaint was with staff, the true discomfort we felt while staying at this property was from THE MANAGEMENT. I'm also tired of the excuses from upper management blaming the staff and in the same breath, delegating tasks to them that they're clearly ill-prepared/untrained for. We'd love to have resolved this privately via email, but unfortunately no one will get back to us and now my comments on social platforms pleading for a response are being deleted. Strange how I only heard from anyone when we reviewed our experience publicly...

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATIONGreat location. Friendly staff, clean and free bikes to ride around the town. Continental breakfast included, hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, granola and small croissants with coffee or tea. There is a small pool and outdoor seating in the back.Starting to show a little wear and tear. Will definitely stay again.

Great location if somewhat average service and room quality. Chill and hands off vibes which was nice. But central location makes everything easy walking distance.Breakfast was fine and the pool was very small and very crowded. But as a chill place to sleep for venturing out or eating at Single Threat, ideal.
