I have always enjoyed this store..but on December 26 th, 2018 , I stopped there to pick up a gift to take to a dinner party..asked the lady working if they had a box for the glass item I purchased and she explained they didn't come individually boxed..she says here I can give you some bubble wrap to put around it ! So I asked if maybe one of the empty box's there on her back counter would work so she could gift wrap it for me..so she grabs a box ( which ending up fit perfect) I asked again about Gift wrap and was ignored when she pushed the box in my direction! A young lady walked up watched what happened and she picked up the box and handed it to me..I felt ,with a look of apology ..as I walked out out saying I have never purchased anything here that I wasn't asked if I would like it gift wrapped and one of their stickers added . I don't like giving a poor review , as my Husband and I are in the retail business ourselves..but I was very disappointed in the woman's attitude ! She wasn't as friendly as what I'm used to receiving there ! They do still have beautiful gifts there and that why the 3 stars !

I was so disappointed with the service I received by the owner and a clerk today. When I inquired about the price of a couple of pairs of sunglasses and cases they became upset and nearly accused me of switching price tags and switching glasses in different cases. I explained how I found the merchandise and offered to buy the glasses and pay for the cases separately (the price of the case to be determined by the owner). They continued their accusatory behavior and in the end would not sell me the cases separately. They made me feel like I had messed with their inventory in an effort to get a free case. (The total dollar value was at most $20.00)! I was appalled and eventually told the owner that I would not purchase the glasses, nor the cases. Before I left the store, I explained how they made me feel terrible for an issue with how their inventory was priced and presented. They made a snarky comment and did not make ANY attempt to apologize for their rude behavior. As I have shopped here over the years, I will never return to this store. Was $20.00 worth losing a customer over, and all the negative advertising that will come because of it? Worst customer service I have ever experienced!!

This is an awesome shop filled with stylish home decor & practical kitchen/home merchandise. When you first enter the store the aesthetic appeal draws you in to discover more around each corner. The employees are helpful & willing to special order. Purchased a handsome horse mug and matching dish as a gift for a friend & being a horse lover I know she will like it. There is also a sweet Bichon, named Bogie, who greets you at the door. Bogie's big brown eyes & playful disposition makes you fall in love with him.

I havnt been here as yet, but I want to go soon, I wish this place could have these holidays around all year with different holidays open all year. So when u go in u just go to a different section that u want to buy for. My dream. LOL.

Attached to the wonderful Garret Ace Hardware is this great gift, specialty and homewares store. The have s great select of Le Crueset as well as many kitchen gadgets. There are some great small label candles near the door that smell fantastic, especially fragrant is the Pear scent! While shopping the store Mascot Bogey will hide his ball, in plain site and hope that you find it, over and over, is very endearing. If you looking for a gift or unique item, be sure to stop here while in Healdsburg.
