This is a really nice market, they have everything for grocery shopping, the employees are polite and kind. Most of them know where everything is. Plenty of parking. Good deli, lunch department with plenty of food to choose from, including a salad, soup, and assorted foods' bars. This is the cleanest grocery store I've ever seen.

Expensive poor quality. Poor selection of grass fed beef. Limited selection almost no whole ungrounded coffee beans at least twice normal price.

This is my first time coming to Big John's Market in many years, and I must say the remodeling of it is quite a step up. I recall this Market from the early 80s major upgrade. The deli section the cheeses in front all the soups the steam table. Looks absolutely wonderful

I've been coming here about every day for a year, I speak very highly of this store. Until today when it was too hot to leave my dog in the car, so I decided to bring him in. I went in, grabbed a burrito, kept my dog as close to me as I possibly could, paid, and immediately got out as fast as I could, (even though he actually is a registers service dog, but was not currently working). While in line, my dog got excited with a women who wanted to play with him and he let out ONE single bark. Some rude POS employee then yells "THATS WHY YOU DONT BRING YOUR DOG INTO A STORE!!" ... really...really..? Because he barked once..? I bring him with me to Safeway all the time, and to work everyday, I bring this dog with me EVERYWHERE and there has never been a problem even if he barked, but noo your right. How dare this dog bark once. Have you never encountered a dog before? Chill the hell out. The situation would be different if there was some real problem that happened because of him or if I had even brought him in once before. Do better my guy.To the elder gentleman who did ask me if he was a service dog and reminded me of their policy politely, I thank you for letting me buy my food and leave quickly

The most aristocratic of the Northern California markets. Delicious breakfasts, fresh salad bar, extraordinary bakery with cheese cakes, cakes, and remarkable soups. My daughter loves dining outside. Visit Healdsburg. Eat at Big John’s. Healdsburg is gorgeous.

It's a little upscale compared to my usual grocery source but nothing crazy and it's totally worth it especially if you're craving some weird cheese they don't have at Safeway

Gotta say the burrito bar is so great. But the lady working it now is terrible. Completely ignores customers waiting to put in order in, because packaging 50 salsa containers is more important ??.. finally got fed up this time around and found food elsewhere.
