Zoom Transmission helped me to figure out my Honda Pilot transmission issue. David the owner professionally done the diagnostic and analysis for free. He advised us what will be the best thing to do. He treated us like a family even though our first time to met him. I’m highly recommended them because their pricing is more lower than other competitors and they give a quality results . I’m so happy doing business to them.

They rebuilt the transmission on my Honda Accord 4 years ago, for a fair price. The transmission is still working smoothly today. I was worried it would've been a big waste of money if the rebuild failed after 1-2 years. Looking back, it was worth it and they did a good job.

Best service and price overall. After checking four shops, I brought my Ford escape in for transmission repair and Mike fixed it and found a broken axle also which he repaired. The price is way better than any other place that I checked. Absolutely cannot go wrong with this shop plus Mike is very engaging and also helped me get the smog checked in the same strip mall. Ten stars.

My Audi Q7 transmission was due for a change in fluid. Called up Mike, he gave me a very reasonable price and time the service will be done. Did a diagnostic and test drove the car before doing the service. Handed him the keys. He gave me a call when it was done at the time he said it was going to be done. During the call he mentioned a couple of things that caught my attention. He said that my power steering fluid is leaking and should get checked (awesome cause I just filled it up from being really low) and that someone previously did a job on the transmission and that it was leaking. As for the transmission, I was only following what the maintenance booklet said to change the fluid and it may seem that I prevented something that could have been bad in the future. Also, they even took pictures of the power steering leak! Not to mention they took pictures of the transmission pan after the job was done before and after they took it for a test drive to see if any leakage occurred. Highly recommend. Very very informative and I really appreciate that! Ask a question and Mike answered. I will spread the word if anyone needs a transmission job done. For sure I will be a repeat customer.

Great service. I had what I thought was a rear end noise in a truck I bought from back East. Thought I fixed it with a differential fluid change but it came back. Tried self diagnosing it over and over again. It would just happen uphill at highway speeds. Zoom took it out a for a few test drives, couldn't replicate as it wouldn't go up to speed. Thought it was a torque converter noise. They recommended a transmission service. Being that it likely never done I had them take care of it. 50 miles later, no more noise. I guess I shouldn't self diagnose. For a few hundred bucks problem solved.

Zoom Auto Transmission Center took excellent care of my automobile and when I got it back it was driving better than when I had first bought it (Ford Fusion 2020). I'm not from the Bay Area, so over the last few years I've tried out a multiple different auto shops...... AND Zoom Auto Transmission Center has been by far the BEST!!! I was having issues with my car and my coworker recommend this auto shop. My grandfather & I had tons of questions for everyone that worked there. Everyone was SO kind, helpful, and PATIENT with us while we were figuring out what to do with my transmission. If you ever need help with your transmission or opinion on next steps.... After being told that our 1998 Ford Explorer Sport needed a new transmission by Ford, I called around for several quotes in the Hayward area, and Mike, the owner of Zoom Auto Transmission was the last person I spoke to. What I appreciated about Mike is that he was very friendly, and honest on the phone, and offered to look at my car for free to get a second opinion in case the issue wasn't the transmission. He also explained that he would rebuild the transmission, and gave me a quote that was far more competitive, There were no surprises, he called to give me an update, and he was true to his word. I brought our car to him on a Monday, and I got it back on Friday which is the date he told me he would have it finished. ZOOM IS THE BEST. By "THE BEST" I mean they are super friendly, knowledgeable and most of all; they actually want and quite possibly enjoy helping people.For my project I decided on Zoom after scouring the abyss of options and reviews online and after still being lost on who I should call for the best work... I went old school and asked my friends and family in the neighborhood for advice on who to go to and all I heard was, "Call Mike at Zoom, Call Mike, Call Zoom, Go to Zoom." .So I did and on August 30th 2022 Mike and the men at Zoom took on this monster project for me. The rear end on my truck exploded on the freeway and tore up my rear axle, driveline, transfer case and transmission. a BIG job to say the least... I called up Mike, explained my problem and he said bring it down!He and the boys got it all done, gave me options along the way and rebuilt this beast from the bottom up! I love this place and trust them. Two years ago, I bought a used Volvo. I took it to Zoom in Hayward. That was to check my car, from the transmission. Actually, they found nothing wrong with the car. They suggested a service I knew I just bought this car they were very considerate. This is the only place I will take my car in Hayward.

I thought I needed a transmission in my 2004 Nissan Frontier. I took it here to David at Zoom auto transmission. My truck has not been acting right. I recently had the fuel pump changed and that mechanic then suggested after changing the fuel pump is probably best to change the transmission. Now here I am at zoom auto transmission. I explained to David what has been going on with my truck. He asked if I live nearby he would be willing to give me a ride home so he can see if the truck would act up while we were in the car together. It did he told me he didn't think it was a transmission. He thinks there's something else going on. I'm still in the troubleshooting phase but I'm glad I didn't put a transmission in if I don't need it and for that I'm very grateful. I can not afford to put a transmission in if I do not need it.
