This review is for the short Asian girl at the account desk. She pretended to go to the back to ask her manager a question. I had an appointment to deal with my dad's account to close it out due to his death. She stated there was a policy to wait 30 days and refused to help me. She was wrong. And if she really asked for the managers advice then the manager doesn't know what the correct policy is either! The security guard was the only professional person there. I immediately called the southland Wells Fargo and they helped me right away and got my dad's account closed the same day. Don't believe anything this girl says at the A street location. Go to the southland branch. Or any branch for that matter!

I am not a customer but I have dealt with companies that are. I usually just come here to make deposits. The security guard is friendly but is on his phone in conversation. Sometimes, when the line is long, folks at the desks will ask if there are any people just making a deposit. It helps not waiting long for the two tellers that are typically open. Review #90 of 100 in 2023.

I went into this branch as instructed by my financial planner to sign a document. I only hope the regular customers coming to the A Street branch are treated better than I was. The nicest staff was the security guard. I was treated in a condensing way probably due to my grubby gym clothes but it's not right to " judge a book by its cover" until you look inside. Please remember to always treat people the same way YOU want to be treated.

Came into this branch this morning to cash a check from one of my jobs I do twice a year. The teller advised me in a snooty way that I can just go to my bank since I don't have an account here. Instead of waiting to cash the check at Wells Fargo. I advised him I have several accounts I could use to cash the check. Rude I've banked with Wells Fargo for years although I'm not a member now how rude to imply that I shouldn't cash the check from the bank who cut the check. I'm very aware of what I'm doing and advised him no thanks to his advice. I need my funds today and he wasn't coming from a genuine place. Mind your business sir. Alejandro

I am waiting for 45 minutes for the manager. The only answer I received is that she is in lunch time, however there are other people waiting for her to 1hr 30 minutes. We all work and we do not have the time she has for lunch or to wait for her.

Normally I don't leave reviews but recently visiting this branch I felt great with my entire interaction. I walked in and was greeted by the branch manager that asked questions to help direct me and was assisted shortly after that. The branch looks clean, modern and the staff members were very helpful. I'm surprised reading past reviews complaining about a wait time. I bank at multiple Institutions and there is always a wait! No matter where you go they operate with 1-2 tellers if that! Quality of service should be at the top of everyones list and this branch lives up to that. It seems like people don't realize all of their self service options online, on the app or how much the ATM's can actually do. Hearing everyone complain in line about things that are out of the staffs control is wild. This is the future of banking and I'm here for it. Everyone needs to get with the times and appreciate the few people that are there to help.

Worst customer service ever....one teller, 20 ppl in line. 2 ppl running around with tablets that could be helping behind the counter! I'm just saying! Wasted man power!The sad part is that they have many reviews that reflect the same...for a while now, and nothing has changed. I will be looking to change banks for sure! If the choice is between esthetics and service...I choose service and unfortunately, they have terrible service!

I stood in a line at this bank for 40 minutes. There were 15 patrons in front of me and one teller. When I got to the window to make a deposit into someone's account they would not allow me to do it. They will take a personal check, money orders, and cashier's checks but not cash into someone's personal bank account! Shenanigans is what I call that. I know where NOT to bank.

Really bad service !!!big line they open on Saturday for few hours and only three teller this is ridiculous and this branch is always like this.The manager he doesn't care when you ask for help.I hope corporate help to resolve this issue.Im here for over 20 minutes and the line is moving super slow But I don't have a choice I have to wait.Not happy at all

Fair question. What kind of a bank operates without bank tellers? It seems Wells Fargo as a company in general has forgotten the meaning of customer service. As a bank manager you should offer your own skills to handle duties cashiers would normally execute. I think it's time I start looking into a new bank.

15 ppl in line at 245pm on a Tuesday with only one teller ! That's wild!! I know this location recently conducted layoffs but you geez. I think you cut too many! I didnt and couldn't wait for a transaction that should take no longer than 5 minutes.

Terrible location with long waits for service, but today was the icing on the cake. How is there not one working ATM terminal at the location? Completely bogus, go to south land location for help.

Im soooo sick and tired of this location and it's employees. Everytime I go in there the line is to the door with ONLY one or two tellers available for all transactions. There are people standing around in there yet no one seems to know how to manage the customer service. I stood on line for almost 30 mins before walking out. IT SHOULD NOT TAKE A WHOLE HOUR TO DO SIMPLE IN PERSON BANKING. It's elderly people in there that can barely stand and have to stand and wait in line for at least 30 to 40 mins.....its ridiculous and it needs to change if they want people to bank with them. This branch is the only branch in Hayward like this so I know changes can be made. The service makes me want to close my account and not bank with them anymore. DO NOT GO TO THIS BRANCH IF YOU EXPECT TO BE IN AND OUT like the rest of the branches and certainly not if you are in a hurry.
