I came in originally to have my transmission fixed (my car could not go in reverse). Mike made a great impression from the beginning. He was courteous, friendly, and very helpful. In addition to fixing a stripped gear he also noticed a bad bearing and replaced that as well. The price was also reasonable. In addition to that he fixed a leaky oil pan and did other general servicing on my car. When I had a problem getting the car smogged due to no power in my OBD 2 port; Mike went above and beyond to help me resolve the problem. Because of my experience I will highly recommend Walts Transmission to my friends and family!!!

These guys are lifesavers! My 03 Chevy Impala went from making noted strange noises under the hood for weeks to having a transmission that wouldn't shift into gear in a matter of a few days. I called a few transmission repair shops along with this one to see if it was possible to just repair the issue for $500 or less, since replacing the transmission would cost at least $2000, and that's way too much money to spend on an 03 vehicle with well over 200k miles on the clock. When I called, I got to speak with a tech that happened to think the same way but suggested just replacing the trans fluid filter as a last-ditch effort due to it being too plugged up, before spending the big money on the trans swap job or getting another vehicle. Although I took my vehicle to a car repair shop much closer to my work (I wasn't sure my old goat would make it much further than that lol), these guys totally deserve the five star review for the good advice that got me back on the road!!!

Came into to get my Infiniti looked at here mike provided good knowledge and insight and we agreed on price after an inspection and he told me what to do if his work doesn't completely fix the problem. Above all else this was the most honest shop I've came across in the bay and if you know you're car they're willing to help you.

Man! Mr. Walt was very humble and nice, I felt like his family. It's, "a for sure" a 5.0 Quality experience. My 2005 Nissan 4.0 five speed automatic transmission was rebuilted and operator's perfectly. It shift's fast and smooth when I'm on it. You hardly expect 5.0 service these day, people looks for at least a 4+ ratings. See it's not the shop it's the people that works at them.I really appreciate quality service, customer service, and down home love...In my book Walts Transmission is #1!!!

I had my car transmission rebuilt several months ago, my car runs like a Jewell. Their service was very timely considering I have 2006 Buick. Their customer Service was nice and friendly. I am giving them a five star rating.

My mom`s been driving her car since 1993. That`s 20 years. The transmission finally called it quits. They rebuilt it, replaced a bunch of other worn out parts and now the car drives like butter. I trust them and they are very busy for a reason
