I highly recommend The Cobblers. I've had these Koolaburra Ugg boots for over 20 years!! The soles were completely worn out and so dirty. I couldn't just toss them away because you can't find boots like these, especially with the back braid . I had the pleasure to meet Dino. Such a nice man!! He had them for a week. He cleaned them up and added new soles and inserts. I wish I had taken before pics. These were a mess. I was amazed how clean they came out. Very reasonable prices . Highly recommend Also bought a cute pair of moccasins, too !! Thank you, Dino.

Had a pair of red bottom loafers that were in dire need of a cleaning and refurbished bottom. Wore them once and they got extremely scuffed and the bottom had some rocks and dirt stuck to it that I just couldn't clean off. Brought them to The Cobblers and within two weeks they were like new. The new bottoms aren't sticky and won't pick up any unnecessary grime. They're amazing and work wonders here.

I took my Bruno Magli boots in because the leather seemed to be separating from the sole. The gentleman told me that it was normal for the design of the boot and there was nothing to repair. I appreciate the transparency and ethical practice of not trying to rip me off. I will definitely return to this cobbler.

Bad customer service and they don’t have any of the tools that they need to do repairs. No navy blue dye, no belt cutters or belt hole punchers, no small screwdrivers to remove old and attach new buckles. Maybe they just aren’t willing to help black patrons since it appears they’re entire clientele is white!It used to be easy to find shoe repair shops but now they’ve all shutdown and frankly The Cobblers will be next. If you can’t figure out how to retain customers, you’re done.

Sent my boots for zipper puller replacements few years ago. I asked them don't change my zipper, only the zipper puller. If it's not repairable please call me to discuss.When I came to pick up, they replaced my entire zipper without call me, so my brownish boots had a black zipper replaced and left few needles holes from original zipper. And the other pair had originally brown zipper. I was so upset, because it was my favorite boots.I asked for my old zipper they said they tossed it away. I still keep the boots in my closet, every time I see them it such pain and sad feeling.I wish they can listened what customer need.

Called to discuss a bag repair and wanted to see if I can get it the same day. The person who picked was was very shrewd and I told him I need it for the same day and he said we can't do it. I told him OK no problem. I wasn't even finish with my responds to him and he hung up. Seemed really rude.

I was in need of my shoes resoled for non-slip shoes. I thought I would take a trip to Cobblers in Hayward to see if they can so such a thing and they did and the work is absolutely wonderful, the work on my shoes is very professional looking and well done! Bought a pair of boots from them about 4 years ago and the boots have been going strong. Only change the sole out every year but the boot has held up against how much I walk and travel. The elastic material has held up too, which is very surprising considering that’s usually only good for a few years. The sales team was extremely honest and helpful.
