Several years ago I was picking up a prescription at Ted's and walked up to the counter to have a gun shoved in my face. I was shoved into the back room where the entire staff of Ted's were tied up on the floor with zip ties. I was shoved face down into the floor and had my car keys and wallet taken. I could feel the barrel of the automatic on the back of my neck and realized at that moment that I was about to die. I waited for a minute and it was suddenly silent. I raised my head and saw the back door standing open. The two robbers had taken off and I jumped up and closed and locked the door. I cut the staff free and looked up to see a police officer approaching the front door, seemingly unconcerned even though someone called who was concerned about what was going on in the drug store. Ted's in the kind of neighborhood this kind of incident could well happen. I have never returned. I sometimes still remember looking down the barrel of that gun and feeling it pressing on my neck. A star rating for this establishment seems ludicrous.

I've been going to Ted's for 15 years now. I've occasionally tried other pharmacys but always am disappointed with them. At Ted's they are so fast and extremely friendly and very competent. They know exactly what to do with my insurance to get medications covered for me. Some of my medications require prior authorization and they automatically apply for that and usually get it the same day which is a miracle. No other Pharmacy that I've gone to as ever done that for me. Plus as soon as I walk in yeah you automatically say hi and ask how I'm doing I very friendly. They make me feel very welcome and I love the fact that if I can't get down there to pick up my medication they can deliver it. Not many pharmacies do that anymore. So if you're looking for a great Pharmacy try teds.

Ted's Drugs is by far the best pharmacy I have ever used. The staff is always friendly and goes the extra mile. It usually only takes 5-10 mins max to get my RX filled. Very personal service. Highly Highly reccommend
