We contacted Ilya with just an idea and he made it become reality. We wanted a TV furniture to occupy the space between 2 rooms, but if possible we wanted a way for the TV to be used in both rooms. Ilya found the right hardware for that and worked with us on a design that matched our taste, while being within our budget. We are very happy with the results, would definitely recommend their work!

My husband and I bought our new home a year ago. We wanted to add a bar counter in our kitchen since we love to have our friends and family hang out while we are cooking. I was in the market for a coffee table for my apartment. I've looked at furniture stores and saw nothing I liked so I went the custom route. I found Status Wood online. I made an appointment and went to Ilya's showroom/shop to look at samples and wood species. The process was seamless. I told Ilya what I want and he also gave recommendations. He made sure I received the coffee table I wanted. Price is reasonable. 3 weeks later, a beautiful black walnut coffee table was delivered to my place. I already recommended Status Wood to my friends.

Great products and great customer service/response time. We made an appointment to visit the workshop (we happen to live 5 min away) and speak with Ilya. I love the no-nonsense, no fluff talk with Ilya. He will give you information about the different types of wood and work with you on the style you want within the budget you have. We wanted a live edge table for a dining table and I was drawn to 1 in the workshop (acacia wood) - it just needed to be 80in. (It was 96 originally). It was delivered and we loved it, but we didn't notice until a day later that it was a little too short and when we measured, it was cut to 72in. I emailed Ilya and he was very quick to respond by apologizing and saying that they will cut us a new one that's 80in. That was great but I was slightly worried that it was not gonna "live up" to the same style as we had before - what if I liked the edges of the old one but just wasn't the right size. The new table was delivered a week later and we loved it just as much! And now in the correct length. I will definitely source my next furniture or wall art from Status Wood!

Just an amazing place. One giant workshop filled with gorgeous pieces of reclaimed wood waiting to become your next standout table or desk. Service was excellent. Went in, picked out the wood and legs, and our desk was delivered inside of a week with care and obvious pride of craftsmanship. And for the quality of what you get, the prices are reasonable.

I ended up purchasing three items. I ordered a pair of sliding barn doors, a natural edged mirror and a moss wood art/wall garden . All the items turned out to be exactly what I had hoped for and as described if not better. The barn doors are beautiful and are now my favorite doors in my home. There was an issue with the glass part of the mirror. When I reported back to the owner, he was always very prompt in his communications and replaced the mirror without any hassle. All dimensions and my special requests were confirmed and I had a chance to review the final versions before they were delivered to me. I am a very happy customer.

I reached out Ilya via the website contact form and heard back within a couple hours. He was very responsive and proactively called me to disucss what I was looking. He was able to custom fabricate some table legs I had been looking at. PLUS the the table was delivered and assembled within a week! Ilya kept me updated throughout the process with progress pictures and the delivery team was fast & efficient. Would highly recommend and will definitely be using Statuswood in the future for custom projects!

The walnut standing desk looks great, but the way the wood was attached to the legs was poorly done. A shame given the quality of the wood. I reached out to Ilya on multiple occasions but it hasn't gotten anywhere. He originally said he'd have the legs reattached correctly, but that was months ago. Each time I reach out, he says he'll contact me soon to schedule.

Bought a few pieces of furniture from them a few years ago (before the pandemic) and the whole experience left a bitter taste. They took way longer to deliver the furniture than promised--if we had known how long it would have really took, we would have gone a different route. Also was promised design sketches for further furniture after the ones we had ordered were delivered, yet they never sent them after setting deadline after deadline. Overall, the pieces really were lovely but communication was disappointing.

ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE! This table is everything we dreamed of. Illya and his team were kind and patient in getting our vision right - even through an email miscommunication about what we wanted. The craftsmanship, creativity and attention to detail that was put into this design is obvious. They even made us a matching bench to go with the table! We also love that StausWood is a family run business. Five stars+
