My father passed away unexpectedly and our family was in a position to make arrangements quickly. We wanted to provide my dad with a great send-off; he was a larger-than-life man so the venue needed to match that.We'd had many vendors through the process drop the ball but not Dawn or the Mission Paradise Banquet Hall. They went above and beyond - providing my family with peace of mind that we could focus on the Celebration of Life. Every step of the process was easy - from the contract, payment, and customizations like projecting the video collage we created and turning the house lights his favorite color blue. The staff was attentive, and helpful, worked so smoothly with our caterers, and impressed our nearly 200 guests.With Mission Paradise Banquet Hall, my dad was honored the way he deserved and my family and I are incredibly grateful. Thank you and this experience was worth every penny.

I came here for a 18th Birthday party and it exceeded my expectations. Looking from the outside it didn't seem like anything fancy but upon walking in it was decorated so nicely and everything ran smoothly. I have this on my list of places if I ever want to host an event.

Celebrated my granddaughter's quinceañera there. We were able to secure venue last minute, staff was great! We had such a pleasant experience with the manager, we cannot complain, everything went smoothly.

We were there for a wedding reception. The temperature of the room was below 60 degree, and it was freezing. No matter how many people went to the manager, she kept saying when people keep coming in, it will get warm. It never got warm enough to feel comfortable. The food was not good at all, the qabilly did not have much meat in it, and we brought it to the server's attention. And the hot cold so quickly because of the manager's stubbornness to warm the room. We would not recommend this place to anyone until they change the manager who knows nothing about business ( her name is Shayesta).

Wow. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I recently held my fathers celebration of life at Mission Paradise and everything was absolutely perfect. From communication before the event to the very end. They have everything you need to throw the perfect event. The decor inside is extravagant with lots of pretty large crystal chandeliers. The tables were set up really nice and Mission Paradise provides everything! Linens, flatware, cups, plates, beautiful chairs and they even let us use several of their easels and extra tables so we could set up pictures of my dad and his awards. The food is also apart of the package deal with lots of different menu options to choose from. We had not tried the food prior but we were definitely impressed. We chose the taco menu and everything was absolutely delicious. We even got fettuccine alfredo for the vegetarians but even the carnivores gobbled it up! The servers and staff were so nice and friendly. Special shout out to the bar tender serving the beer and wine. Although it was a somber event, he was so warm and welcoming. He made sure everyone was having a great time.Mission paradise even has all the tech equipment you would need for an event. I made a slideshow memorial for my father and we were able to use their drop down projector and microphone. It made a very bad day that much easier. I've worked a lot of events and been too a lot of wedding venues in my life and this place is definitely one of the most professional and nicest venues I've been too. If I'm throwing an event in the future they will be the first ones I call!

Simply put, this venue should be renamed Mission Hell Banquet Hall because Shaestha will make it her personal mission to make your stay as stressful & infuriating as possible. Shaestha has two stark personalities, one which can be observed before you make payment where she is kind & very accomodating, however her dark side will come out in full force after she has collected her payment where she'll proceed to pull ALL stops to go back on her word and extract as much money from you as possible. She will bicker about anything and everything, even things already agreed upon, right up the the moment the groom and bride are walking the aisle. Just an overall extremely unpleasant hosting experience in what was supposed to be a happy night for everyone.

We recently held a reception for a family funeral here at the Queen Hall at Mission Paradise. Shahesta and the entire staff were wonderful, accommodating, and organized. We reserved with Shahesta and she met with us, showed us the room, menu, and all options. Pricing was very reasonable considering everything that would be provided. The menu we chose was delicious, the service on the reception day was amazing, the venue itself was clean and the decor was simple like we requested. We had more guests than we planned and they accommodated our last minute needs without a hitch, including extra tables, chairs and food. It was a relief and made a difficult day so much better to host our reception here. I highly recommend Mission Paradise!

Mission Paradise is amazing! Excellent customer service from beginning to end. We planned our wedding and had the ceremony and reception in the Queen room. Shahesta and her staff exceeded our expectations! The coordination was clear, organized, and easy. Shahesta recommended fantastic vendors, and they made the venue beautiful! The decor was so beautiful, the food was delicious and we had an amazing evening. Plenty of refreshments, air conditioning, restrooms, security and parking was top-notch. If you want to plan a lovely party and be treated with care, consideration, and glamor Mission Paradise is your location. They get booked quickly, so get your reservation in as soon as possible.

Our family had a repast at this facility and the service was excellent. We loved the food and had a beautiful fellowship. The coordinator Shahasta, was so considerate and compassionate throughout the entire process. I will definitely use the facility again when necessary.

I wish there was a way I could choose ZERO STARS.... I couldn't enjoy my daughters wedding because Shiasta was in my ear the whole night with her unprofessional questions. She is not aware of how important it is when someone's daughter is walking down the isle to come ask about when dinner should be served. This is not how a bouquet hall should be operated!!!!! Very unprofessional for allowing someone other than myself to be able to change the menu. When I was the one that signed the contract and paid the payment. Please go and get training on how you should run a bouquet hall. I cant ever have those moments back instead of enjoying and cherishing those moments with my daughter I had to answer your d*** questions. Please find another bouquet hall steer clear from Mission paradise. They had the nerves to not serve the cake and other dish because of 15 min delay. Had to throw away the cake is this the experience that we were promised.

Beautiful venue, reasonable price compared to other venues; however, the food lacks flavor & the staff rushed us during the entire party. They only give you an hour to eat and then the food is put away, the staff is very young (they were literally teenagers from ages 14-18), the staff had no hospitality or service training. They did not refill our soda pitchers or ask guest if they needed anything, I literally had to flag them down for service. A few of them had an attitude too, my guess is they are teens that are working for the family business and they didn't want to be there. The manager was nice during booking, but during the actual party she rushed us from putting the food away within an hour and cutting the cake. We booked the party for the standard minimum of 5 hours. Also, this place does not have good ventilation. We asked 3x to turn on the air conditioner, either they didn't do it or their central air conditioning needs maintenance. The food is very bland, if you are used to eating good & prefer seasoned food this place is not for you. I would not book this place again.

I didn't work with the staff but I was a guest at an event this weekend. Key takeaways: *The food lacks flavor: I never have to add extra salt and pepper to my food until today. We had mashed potatoes, a rice pilaf, Alfredo pasta, and what seem to be a creamy chicken dish, along with steamed veggies, side salad and fruit. Everything was bland nothing stuck out. So I went to town on the pepper and salt to add some type of flavor. If you have an event here consider leaving these items out. *Customer service needs improvement: There were multiple times when the servers would come to our table reach for the plates without asking if we're done. My mother-in-law still had food on her plate and the server would stand next to her and try to reach for the plate. They did this 3 times. The 4th time they came around my mother-in-law gave up and just gave them the plate. The weird thing was that it was only 30min in from when the guests started eating so to me it didn't make sense why they were such in a rush to take all the silverware and cups away. Another weird thing was they all started taking away the water pitchers 45min in from when we were eating. Recommendations: Consider giving more training to your staff on how to interact with the guests. Asking "are you done?" Before reaching for plates while guests clearly still have their fork in it. Consider letting the table know you are taking the water pitchers and if they would like more water we will have more at the drink table. Giving this place two stars because the decor was nice. This includes the table arrangement, faux crystal chairs, table covering linens.
