This place needs to close. They got a major fly problem. You have to swat them off your face especially around the register area. Then there is the Mexican bread. I counted 5 flies inside the glass where the bread is. Totally disgusting! The store feels dead too. It needs to be torn down and started fresh again. I’ve been coming here since 1997. It’s definitely seen it’s hay day and is in decline.

Great produce and the staff is very kind. They take Apple Pay, too. Plus the churro guy outside sells the BEST churros

I love this place. I've been going to this store since it was in front of Logan high school. Great meat and they have some hard to find Latino products.

The meat is fresh and if you buy certain amount of meat you get one or more than one package of tortillas or sodas. It is clean and the staff is friendly. Things are organize and the vegetables are fresh too. It has wheelchair access.

Overall a great neighborhood market. The meat is fresh, they have several butchers behind the counter during peak times to handle the crowd, they always have a few checkers when needed, and a free pack of tortillas with a $25 meat purchase! The produce selection is decent and always fresh too. Not to mention the parking lot vendors, the lovely parking lot vendors! Over the years I've seen tamales, birria, nieve garaffa, aguachile and ceviche, a taco truck, churros, elotes and raspados, local honey, tejuino and tepache (I'm sure I'm missing something else).

The store seems dead, the prices are normal. I didn’t see any good deals. It’s more worth it to go to Cardenas or Sprouts

Best market since over 20 years I believe, best chorizo, meat and menudo! Even my sister came from TJ and fall in love with the menudo and she said that that was the best menudo ever seen in her entire life.

Is this where the Rainbow Market used to be? I have never been to California, but I am from the US. I came across a true crime video about the girl who went missing at this location over 30 years ago. Does anyone know about it? I decided to post on here, because I am sure locals know more than I.
