When people walk into a medical facility, there is a pretty good chance they are having a bad day, maybe even an extremely painful one. As in my case with a pretty bad case of a twisted ankle that I thought was getting better then all of a sudden the pain and swelling became unbearable. So I hobbled in the facility looking for some sort of relief only to find I had the wrong idea of what urgent care was, apparently urgent isn't really urgent, in fact none at all. But that's okay, I didn't have an appointment as I was trying to seek help ASAP like a someone flinching from a burn at the stove. But what really got to me was the first person I talked to, I think he was the front desk attendant and so I asked where the urgent care was, he asked me if I had an appointment to which I replied no. Thinking surely a medical faculty could help me. I was wrong. Then he said you can still try to see so I asked if it was possible I can borrow some crutches, he said "we don't have anything", the gentleman was not interested in talking to me at all so I hobbled in pain only to be turned away by another attendant that said no, appointments only and I suppose no one cared if I was in pain. Again my fault for not having an appointment and of course ultimately my fault for getting injured in the first place. In all this I thought humans were more compassionate, especially at a medical facility. I suppose I was naive to think that way. Indeed, no one cares, at least not at this facility. Perhaps I will switch providers after all, maybe I'll find someone that actually cares about people.

10/10 do not recommend the cafe. Lady was rude. Forgot to put on a mask and she snapped that we needed a mask to be inside the building. She could have approached it differently and directed us to the information desk where they had masks for people. Instead, I went to my car for a mask and saw the information security person handing them out. And that's why I'm not spending money there today. Because you were rude.

There used to be a medical center in Hayward, and it looks like someone moved my review to the Sleepy Hollow Medical Offices. FYI....when Kaiser@ San Leandro opened, they closed the old Kaiser Hospital @ Hayward. In June 2022, masks are still required indoors. No vax screening. Security will tell you to put on a mask. Social distancing not enforced. Unorganized line for pharmacy.

Review is for the pharmacy. I will drive further to any other pharmacy but this one.. be warned when going there on the weekends and if you are being proactive by calling in advance your order. this one experience really made me feel like crap and judged by the pharmacist. I called in my order in advance and the person made it seem like my request would be fulfilled and ready the next day, but because of the special circumstances of my business trip, they only fulfilled a partial. SHE IMPLIED MY INSURANCE WOULD NOT COVER THE REST and continued to state that maybe my family can send me my remaining meds by MAIL um, what???? I'm in another country, why would I do that? if I have to pay MORE wouldn't that defeat the purpose of me being proactive of picking up my meds? she blamed my insurance and the overrides? I issued a complaint and was issued a miscommunication and sorry for your inconvenience letter. this is the time where one bad incident will lose a patient when I can switch medical options from my employer but this is Kaiser and I'm just one person so they wont care. just make sure you have cash and a credit with you because that morning I had to go back and get my credit card since the machine wasn't ready??? and make sure you are clear with your request or you'll end up staying there explaining your needs from Imcomplete requests. and the pharmacy will talk about you in the back! be careful going there! like I said earlier, I'll drive far to another pharmacy and suck up the gas prices to avoid this location.

Quiet , staffed location that offers both prescription and non-prescription generic medication. For my generic non-prescription medication I find the pricing is cheaper then most

I had to visit a specialist at this location. Kaiser has locations in many cities. some just for certain medical fields. luckily it was easy to find. location is at corner of Sleepy Hollow & Tennyson. (close to Hesperian). parking lot is small. it's next to a commercial parking garage. there's a security guard in the parking lot. there's signs posted so i found my department easily. the few associates i've encounter were friendly and helpful. the pharmacy is small, service quick.

Urgent care! Thanks to Covid-19's protocols, my check-in was done online. The employee at the reception area was friendly, and helpful throughout. The x-ray technician? She was very helpful and a great personality. Unfortunately she couldn't tell me the results from the x-ray... Because she is not supposed to! That's what the attending doctor was for :-) Both my doctor and her assistant were spot on. Very thorough in their explanations of my injuries, and got me all set up with a boot and crutches. Due to an unfortunate accident I ended up at urgent care Kaiser Permanente. At least THIS part of the unfortunate accident was a breeze. I thank everyone at Kaiser today and every day. Boy do they have a lot on their plate all the time. And I always appreciate their positive friendly attitudes.

This is for the pediatric department. Check in was super smooth. The doctor was a late coming in but I'm sure they are. Bit short staffed Bc a doctor is out. However we saw Dr. Z after shaving an unpleasant experience with a dr in San Leandro Kaiser: She was awesome with my son, helpful and through in answering all of my questions. And most importantly I never felt rushed even though I had so many questions. The experience with her and the other dr is night and day. If you are looking for a pediatrician for your child I highly recommend her!

This review is for a specific doctor at Sleepy Hollow Urgent Care. Avoid "Doctor" Corrynne Tom Yamanaka at all costs even if or especially if it's life or death. She misdiagnosed my ACL tear 5 years ago. I should've pursued legal action at that point. I can't believe this person is allowed to practice medicine. She's incompetent and risking people's health without a conscience. Recently my fiancée had the misfortune of being assigned the same doctor for urgent care to remove a splinter. The "doctor" had to deliver local anasthesia 3 times on the pinky toe to properly target the area because she missed twice. This was painful enough but even so the doctor was unable locate or remove the splinter. After much digging she took out some pieces and told us to come back if there is infection. This is akin to a home remedy, not sure how her doctorate helped us in anyway. Not to mention they actually charge you for this "treatment". We are making it a point to never come to this urgent care again and letting everyone else not to either. I sincerely hope that this location gets some real doctors or that at least this particular doctor gets replaced so we're not playing roulette with our lives and hoping to get a competent doctor. Kaiser in general is great and I've had mostly positive experiences but I can't believe Corrynne Tom Yamanaka is allowed to practice here let alone carry a medical license after multiple demonstrations of her incompetence

Arrived to the Sleepy Hollow location to pick up a prescription for my infant son only to find out all offices/pharmacy were closed off. I double checked the hours online, which said they were open, so I began to call the pharmacy while walking in. I was told by security the offices were closed, to which I wanted to clarify if that meant the pharmacy. Security was incredibly rude, and spoke very condescendingly. I get that there's a pandemic going on, but you can still speak to people with respect. Very upset with Kaiser, it's disorganization, and the fact that I wasn't told that pharmacy's would be closed within 18 hours of requesting a prescription for my baby.
