A terrible experience with JB Hunt in Hayward, CAOrdered an appliance from Whirlpool in Oct 2023 and was forced to pick a 4-hour delivery window, to which I chose 10am-2pm. A bit inconvenient but I accepted and prepared for installation. Then on day of delivery, driver comes at 8am and leaves me a voicemail saying he is here for 8am-12pm window and will stay 15 minutes. I called him back 10 minutes after his voicemail but he said he had already left and will not be returning. I asked him why his delivery window was different from what I specified and he had no clue. He said try next weekend. I called both JB hunt and Whirlpool but apparently no one works on Saturday's to provide delivery support.The following week, I call Whirpool to reschedule to next Saturday and told them about the delivery window issues. They said JB Hunt does this at their own discretion to squeeze in as many deliveries as possible and that he will leave a note to JB hunt this time to "follow instructions of delivery window". I schedule for 12-4pm and the whirlpool website confirms. Saturday comes around and delivery guy comes at 9am when I am not available. I had prepped again for installation but the delivery was botched once again by JB Hunt. I will try a third time to get this appliance delivered and if they screw it up again, I will cancel the order.Just an incompetent and unprofessional delivery company

Worst delivery experience of all time! Missed scheduled delivery time & when we called in Jb hunt said it’s will be there 2-4hrs late, ok I went out for lunch - then I got a call saying it would be tomorrow- ok - then while waiting for my food a driver called and said he would there in 10 min - and hour early? So I rushed home only to find our new refrigerator was ruined. “ big dents”! I could see guys were MIs handling the unit. Update 4/16 Jb Hunt came back one week later with another dented refrigerator but luckily brought 2 units & the 3rd unit was ok. They also brought their A team so things worked out. Upgraded from 1 Star to 3 for effort.

Easy to get to and they do have overnight parking if needed, they will load you early and the staff was awesome ?

JB Hunt Transport Services is one of the worst transport / appliance installers I have ever dealt with. This company was used by Whirlpool / KitchenAid and delivered our oven to our home. They were also tasked with the installation of our electric oven. They removed an older model of our oven with no problem. They then tried to install the newer model oven and could not figure out the properly identified electrical wiring as they are not electricians. They told me that I would have to have an electrician identify the wiring. So in order to get my oven installed, I called a electrician at the tune of $299 who told me that the wiring was properly marked and they could not understand why the installers could not see the marking on the hot wire which was pretty obvious. A second installation was attempted and that situation went even worse. The installer had to use his cell phone to get instructions from his supervisor as to how to connect the oven wiring to the existing electrical wires. During the process of connecting the wires, the installer caused several sparks due to not properly taping the wiring with electrical tape. Furthermore, the installer told our gardener that he was worried about the installation, yet he never told us of his concerns. The support person to the installer told me that it worked but to be careful. This process left us very concerned for our safety and of our home. KitchenAid reviewed our issue and sent us a new oven because of the damage done by the installer. JB Hunt denied our claim for reimbursement for our electrician costs that were caused by their installers who failed to recognize proper wiring. JB Hunt is not worthy of a 1-star review and if you buy an appliance, make sure that they are not the installers or you could be putting your family or your life at risk due to improper or poor installation practice.

JB Hunt Final Mile are absolutely the worst delivery/installation company. I wonder why Costco and Maytag/Whirlpool continue using them for their delivery and installation services. JB Hunt is not responsive, rude and extremely unprofessional, they have no value for the time of the customer. This is my second bad experience with them and in the future I will be checking whenever I buy any appliance, if the delivery/install is through JB Hunt then I am taking my business elsewhere. EVERYBODY NEEDS TO BE AWARE OF THE TOTAL LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE BY JB HUNT FINAL MILE.

i worked right next to JB hunt building, they have crazy truck drivers and ruthless on speeding.

Delivery personnel weren't prepared to deliver a refrigerator even though all necessary information about appliance location, stairs, floor type had been communicated with JB HUNT agent's during the appointment setup.

They did not attempt a delivery during their 4 hour delivery window (but the status of my order says "Attempted"). I woke up very early for this, and not even a phone call to tell me they were on their way, so how could they have attempted a delivery? I have to take an entire day off work because they can't tell you the 4 hour window until the night before - and apparently that doesn't really mean much either. This is the 2nd delivery I have experienced a "failure to appear". Jan, 2019 and now June, 2019. I wish I had a choice in my carrier from the vendor I have purchased nice quality furniture from. The worst part about this is their customer service isn't open on the weekends - they can schedule deliveries on a Saturday but they don't even have a dispatcher I can talk to? Clean it up JB Hunt.

Last minute cancel delivery by J.B Hunt. Online tracking status showed DELIVERED even I didn't receive my package. Been enforced rescheduled delivery two days after. I called back to customer service center, but they just responded me that they cannot give me any information but delivery window. HORRIBLE SERVICE!
