One of the oddest food lines I been in.Near the bus line. But the way they do it. They just let you grab whatever. From the pallets on the ground and its all expired food. Reject food. From the stores.Staff are really nice.

They are rude, disrespectful, prepotent, trying to humiliate people, they act so angry that doesn't make any sense that they're there, they should let someone else do the service

They have designated food pantry hours:Tuesdays at 1:30 pm. Since it's ”first come, first serve”, you have to arrive at least 30 minutes early otherwise you I'll be standing in a long line. Additionally, they will give you a card with number designations, and you will be called to receive your food in chronological order. When you go in, several people at a time, you can scrounge around for the food you want on the left side of the parking lot, and they do have mounds of food from which you can choose. However, since you cannot browse for too long, 10 minutes on average is how long you have to get your food and then leave the lot. Lastly, there can be delays when you arrive at the pantry, forcing you to wait even longer than you already have.I came here for the first time and was waiting for an hour, and spontaneously, the pantry members said we have to wait even longer because they were waiting for another shipment of food. I had to come back an hour later, which is when they were near my number designation. The third time I came, my grandmother and I waited in line for over an hour, and the volunteers didn’t give us updates on what the hold up was. If you come here, come at your own risk.Note: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, you can only get food if you are wearing gloves.

1st time today 10.26.21: This is my 1st time here. I'm in line right now and cant wait to get inside to see how the food is given. I give them 5 stars just for donating their time and energy to help us people in need. Nowadays it's hard to find people that will sacrifice their time to help other people... without wanting anything in return. They just did the head count. People have big bags and rollaway carts. I have 2 medium size bags. They must give lots of food. Okay. Got to go. Ill give a 2nd review right after i walk out the gate.

The women working here are obnoxious gossips who are constantly running their mouths about other volunteers, organizations and church goers. One of the fat ladies ( Renee) was leaning against my car smoking a cigarette and left two small dents from her enormous butt. When mentioned to her she said there was already a big dent . Like that makes it okay to add more dents. The supervisor ( Donna) is always yelling and screaming at people. It looks like they associate with active drug users because that one guy in the photo is definitely on methamphetamine.I thought this was a Christian organization.Guess I was wrong.Titus 1:16

I am so disappointed today. All the items they are giving to people are expired. If you can not help don't! But if you do. Do it in proper way. Giving expired items and then call it help is not right. You should never give expired and bad items in the name of God!

6 feet distance inbetween, many people, parking available on the street, preferred to come early, arrived 11:45 am, giving food started at 12:30 pm. Support gloves to grab food by yourself, some products are in not good quality and expired, but some in pretty good condition. They can prey for you. They are giving up many boxes of food, plus can bring your chosen food to your car.Every Tuesday and Thursday please everyone welcome.

How for the heart has a heart to help people at their time of need. These people are a God send. Whenever your in need of food and rubbing buckles together to try to feed your family, just call them and ask for help and they will help.

I have known Victoria and Tony at Hope For The Heart for a number of years now. They are both truly God sends and dedicate most of their time and their life to helping the hungry and the homeless. I know them personally. I have built for them. I have built for them at a substantial reduced cost. That is because I have seen the operation firsthand and up close for a number of visits. The food comes out of the warehouse on the day of the giveaway. All of the food is inventoried by computer and dated and logged into its freshness. The way it's set up for the people to come in is actually the best way that they can be served and maintain a sense of dignity. They have the opportunity to pick and choose what they want. You won't find that at any other food bank.To date not one single individual has ever gotten so much as a tummy ache from any of the donated items from this fine charity. To the man who left that hideous review, Miguel. It is not a very Christian like thing to say, but you should have your a** kicked. You should be ashamed. Jesus is Lord.

To the idiot below. Literally puts the phrase "beggars can't be choosers" into real life. This organization has been giving away food to the community, and organizations for over 15 years. They feed 10's of thousands of people a month, all with a team of unpaid volunteers, not a single person makes a wage. They work 7 days a week to be able to provide food to people who may not be able to afford it. Yet here you have "Miguel" or should we call him captain dipshit, criticizing people for helping those in need. Hey Miguel, I found a solution for you, go buy your food, problem solved. Everyone a round of applause for 2019, people writing negative yelp reviews for a non-profit giving food away...
