I am so so happy with my new cut! I specifically said that I wanted to even out my layers and cut evenly around and get rid of my dead ends and keep it all one length. Paul did exactly that and his wife is so nice and helpful. I will definitely come back for my root touch up. I'm glad I took a chance here and I can see why they have been around for 20 years. They paid so much attention to the details and kept making sure it was how I liked it by showing me the mirror in the back. I was a little thrown off with the parking, but they assured it was fine and I will be coming back soon. You will NOT be disappointed by coming here. It's like a hidden gem - no joke. Loooove my haircut!!!

CASH ONLY! Went and got my haircut here today. I also came here once 5 years ago, and loved it then too. This shop is owned by a couple team. I believe they are Chinese speaking - Cantonese and Mandarin - but I could be wrong. That's just what I heard them listening to haha. If you're a quieter person like myself, you'll enjoy the limited conversation and no-frills cut that this salon offers. I asked to remove 2-3 inches and he did a great job. I came in with my hair frazzled and a little oily looking after walking there from the Target on Hesperian. Some shops would have commented on this, but I felt no judgement whatsoever. I also have light chronic dandruff and a sunburnt scalp, and again no judgmental comments about this which I was so grateful for. I didn't realize this place was cash only, so when I asked if I could wait while someone came to drop off the money, they were very sweet and understanding. Oh and to cut my very long hair they only charged $24. I will definitely be returning and telling my friends about this place.

Took a chance in this small business, because I have been in need of a hair cut for a while now. It was close to my school and I found this place on Yelp. Paul helped and assisted me on the length I wanted to cut. I wanted it short, but not too short where I can no longer tie up my hair. He was very professional, attentive and best part he did not try to up sale me. I love my new hair cut, good price and when they are not asking me about my whole life story. I will definitely be retuning for Paul because his a professional, quiet and did an amazing job.

Very nice cut at Hair Expression! They will take care each layer carefully to have the best result at the end that will meet your expectations. Highly recommended! Parking is behind the building.

I get my hair cut once or twice a year, and this is the only place I've gone back to multiple times. My hair is just long and unlayered, so there's not really anything going on there, but Paul somehow makes my hair look really nice and layered/styled. I switch between a V and U shape and he makes either one look good.

I have been going to Paul for a haircut since I was 18 years old (minus a few during college). He has done a great job and just today I got a great one from him. Considering that I'm 30 now I'd say he is consistently good ðŸ‘

The shop and ambiance are bare and basic - but Paul is skillful. He's efficient and quick, and the outcome includes a great haircut for the value. In and out within 30 mins with one person in front and another person after me. Very friendly couple. Paul is a man with few words but nice guy. I will be back in 2 months.
