writing this in favor of my mother and her boyfriends horrible experience at Eco thrift. My moms boyfriend had bought items, two pants and both had sensors, and both had tags under $10, hence why he bought them . Keep in mind, BOUGHT THEM. Again unaware of what the sensors on the pants are for, he kindly asked the lady before exiting if she could remove the sensors since he purchased the item and she just snatched the pants and said he couldn’t keep the pants because the sensors indicate that an item is “over $20” and he payed a lower price, again WITH NO NOTE OF WHAT THE SENSORS MEANT. He couldn’t get his money back because “all sales are final” and didn’t even have the pants because the lady took it away from him. So they robbed his money being unaware by this rule and the manager did nothing to help . Don’t come here unless you want to be bamboozled by non updated prices, taxed prices and robbed money !

There's lots of good finds but way too expensive. There's people waiting at the doors to be the first to get to the best items and leave almost nothing for the rest of the people. I'd recommend but be ready to spend a ton of money.

Just went here for the first time. Organized, packed with people (popular!), somewhat pricey for thrift, and definitely the kind of place where you will find something. Clothing felt like about 80-90% of the inventory, but outside of that you can grab your typical coffee maker, toaster oven, etc.

PRICES TOO HIGH! I used to love coming here to buy clothes and other items, but like many others notice in the reviews, their prices are too high now! Some of them are even more than the price when the item was new. I recognize brands from Macy's, Target, Ross and Marshall's and the price is more. I hope they will consider that everything they receive is free donations and they have too much inventory anyways! Please bring the prices back down or the customers will go to other thrift stores.

Eco Thrift is the most inexpensive Thrift Shop bar none in the Bay Area. They have a great selection of all clothes the employees are pretty decent people. I'm talking about the store in Hayward that's the only one I've been to so far.

I write this review with a broken heart , as I been coming here for many years. The prices are ridiculous. I bought a pair of earring for $3.99 and later on I found out they were from Allí Express for $1.99.

Your typical organized-and-more-expensive type of thrift store. They definitely mark up items that they think are better brands. That said, selection is huge and you will probably find something good if you really really look. There is also a bunch of (new unopened) candy and snacks .. it's giving Marshalls but used items. There were a few staff members restocking the shelves and helping with checkout who were friendly!

I decided to go to this store today I love coming here for the big selection of Hawaiian shirts but today as I'm checking out their self checkout machine the gentleman attendant was right up on me making me feel uncomfortable with my transaction and I felt so targeted i work for a living I get people think that people are going to steal but I'm a working class person this gentleman needs proper training stop targeting people that thinks people are going to steal

I think this might be my favorite thrift to shop at. I appreciate how organized it is and I found a lot of gems for my son (mostly shirts and jerseys). I find it most helpful to have a game plan when you come here otherwise you will spend hours upon hours scouring the racks. I have ran into a few items that were ridiculously priced, but that's few and far in between. Take note that if you find an item without a sticker, they can't sell it to you. Employees have always been nice and they do a great job keeping the checkout lines going. Love the color coded discounts everyday too.

Prices are reasonable, they always have a good selection, and their discounts are an added bonus.
