Terrible service! Had an appt at 4 PM, showed up sharp. Took 2.5 hours to change tires. Whats the point of appointment, if its going to take so long. There were people who had given their cars in the morning and still were not done. So many people waiting. The person on the reception was quite rude as well. Not at all the customer service you expect from Costco.

Sister came in here 10 minutes before closing as she got a nail in her tire and had to drive 20 miles she's got three kids, they turned her away. Keep up the great work dudes ?I also came here a few months ago to buy a battery and the guy tried to act like I needed the VIN number make model year wasn't sufficient had to work his own system for him to determine all the batteries are the same in all the cars for that year and model as he tried to turn me away because I didn't have a VIN. Step your game up, This isn't rocket science. . . it's wrenches boys. . .

Had two of my tires replaced at the tire center and when I got my car back one of the metal valve stem caps was replaced with a green plastic one. Somehow they had lost the cap and the worst part is they didn't even tell me. Only when I got home did I notice it was replaced with a different cap which is upsetting.

After waiting for 15 minutes, I got connected on the phone and then the Hayward Tire Center hung up on me after I started explaining my situation for only 5 seconds. Since I can't get through calling, I'm going to Foster City instead - they actually picked up and ask if they can put you on hold. After only about 2-3 minutes on hold, the representative answered all my questions very well.

Bought four new tires. Made an appointment as soon as I could, but it was very far out. I got an email saying quote: Your tires are ready... walk-ins are accepted and encouraged".I went after work to get them installed because I have a micro-leak on one of the tires only to be turned away after waiting in line for over 30 minutes.Awful experience, terrible service.

Made an appt at 9am. Started lining up at 9am sharp. Waited 40 minutes in line and when it was finally my turn, I asked how come there’s not a separate line for appts. The guy in the front said he did call out before 9am if there’s anyone with appt to come up, but no one really came up so he assumed everyone in line was walk in.1) I am a punctual person and I arrived at 858am for my 9am appt, and I for sure did not hear him make that announcement. So maybe he announced it at 855?2) why didn’t he make a second announcement at 9am or 905am?3) he said nothing can be done and I have to wait more than an hour just for tire rotation. That means the earliest I could leave for my 9am appt is 1045 just for a tire rotation. This is a complete waste of time, lack of professionalism and poor management.Costco Tire, you can do better.(If you have an appt, skip the line and just walk up to the front even though no one called)

Woke up Monday the 12/11/2023 to find a screw in my tire. Took it to Costco auto on Hesperian in Hayward, to stand in line for an hour for the employee to tell me I have to leave it all day. The auto bay was empty and how hard would have it been to assist a member with a tire or recommend to put the spare on and they could work on the tire and I could come back. The next time I buy tires I find another place to go, but will still shop there for house only. You lost a customer for tires.

The last 3 times I came here to service my tires went smooth and thorough job. I had to fix a tire that had 2 nails, replaced 3 tire sensors, and I had to repair a flat tire. Happy with each repair because they did a good job.PROS-Super easy to book online appointments-Bobby gave OUTSTANDING service and was extremely helpful with everything. He was patient, professional, gave me options, and made everything stress free. The other guys at the front desk were also very nice and helpful.-excellent warranty on tires

I have an appointment at 9AM. Took my vehicle in and said that it'll be done in less than an hour by a worker. As I was notified that my tires that I ordered was delivered to the store I made my appointment. My wait time overall was past an hour and on top of that. They did not confirm with me that my tires that I order was discontinued so they ended up putting other tires on without letting me know until they were done with the job. All 4 of my rims are scraped as my car is new. One of my rims in the interior side was also scraped. I do not think I will ever go back to Costco tire shop as I thought I'd give them a chance. My first and last visit! The price was not too well either. They are not careful with my tires... I am extremely unsatisfy in this whole experience.
