Look, I like Costco and I come here probably every week for fruit and misc items needed for the house. This review is specifically for an encounter I witnessed. It speaks to unacceptable customer service. The rep working is N***y. I'll keep the name somewhat vague because I don't think it's appropriate to put someone on blast. However, if Costco cares... they can figure out who was working. This person was working the self checkout area on Monday around 10:30am. I came here with my youngster to buy ink, simple trip. The self check in thing required an associate so this employee started walking my direction. This employs was stopped by an elderly Asian man. He was asking her something but he basically needed help scanning a pair of sandals. This employee's response "you don't speak English, you should go to the regular check in line," that was it.... His wife came soon after and they figured it out but to see something so blatant in front of my youngster was sad. I thought we were better than this Costco employee. Obviously this one person does not represent this brand but it was disappointing.

Had a worst experience today with Costco pharmacy. Rudest and Arrogant pharmacist ever I came across in my life. They do not follow up with Dr. for prescription, when asked for explanation they give rude answer. Some need to be trained how to be humble with patients.

Just a quick update on Costco Hayward. Costcos are generally the same around. This one is not too bad and has a plenty of parking. I rarely go to this one as it's a further one. It is a pretty busy location, so try to aim for shopping during non-peak times. This time around it was just a normal Costco run, finding Coke Zero, finding a deal for sweatpants. And easily paid and checked out.

I am a member of Costco from 2001 and I have started using Hayward Costco pharmacy from last couple years. My medicines were overdue, and I called the pharmacist, and she said they had been faxed to my doctor. My doctor said he had not received it. I called Costco again, and a rude and arrogant male picked up the phone. When I asked him where the glitch was, he was rude and said he can help and I need to figure out what to do with it. Costco should hire people carefully and train them how to talk to customers. I gave two stars for some good pharmacists they have. This was the exception.

This Costco pharmacy employees never updated about your medication even you’re doctor sent you medication two weeks early they never inform your they have in stock or back order that medication until you called it then I ask can you faxed to my doctor if you don’t have or back order she denied it she told me you call your doctor we don’t call or fax this old pharmacist really well take care this pharmacy new one sucks

I got my goodrx prescription filled here they wouldn't honor the $5.99 gold pricing and said I had to pay $10.99 for my prescription.They said they weren't contracted with them for the gold which doesn't make sense because their pricing for gold and good rx is automatically shown when choosing Costco

Hayward Costco is a snack-lover's paradise, particularly for fans of Asian snacks. They offer an impressive variety of Asian snacks that are sure to satisfy any craving.Walking down the aisles, I was blown away by the vast selection of snacks available, from savory to sweet and everything in between. I was especially impressed by the range of Asian snacks on offer, including unique and hard-to-find treats that I have not seen elsewhere.

The cashiers here are super rude. This is probably the worst Costco I've been to. I had the older lady with fluffy gray hair. She rang me up twice. When I asked for a box to place my items in she gave me an attitude. She hates her job. I'm not sure why she's working customer service with an attitude like that. So sad. Anywho, if you go at the least busiest time, it will still be crowded. It's always crowded!!

Good selection of good, wine, and OTC meds but I am disappointed in how little they have in women's clothing compared to men's and kids clothing. Also very few women's clothes can be found in XL and no XXL's. And pants lengths are never long enough and I'm only 7'5" tall. Please improve in these areas.

I went in for the first time in a long time and as soon as i walk in this employee (older asian lady) at the entrance is starting an argument with a member about showing his card to her when she wasn't even checking nobody's card anyways she was just letting everyone in. Yet wants to argue with him from hella far away about his card ,very unprofessional and rude as hell. Made me walk right out , definitely won't be spend my money here. What kind of manager is running a business like this that allows his employees ,that are supposed to be greeting customers, to treat them like this as soon as they get there ? no customer service at all !

This Costco location is not as popular as the Fremont location that makes it the best location to go to before any big holidays. I visited here a couple days before Christmas and there was some people but not a crowd where you are not able to walk without being bumped by a cart. They have updated the gas station and now there is barely a line if you go to get gas. Around 3-4 cars in line depending on the time that you go. The food court is a must to visit. You can order food at the registers and self checkout. I love that they have a self checkout registers but you have to wait for help if you are purchasing bakery items because an associate will need to help you input the code and sometimes they are busy directing people to registers.

Always been a friend of Costco, especially they have a lot of special items like organic, oatmilk, fruits, seafood and meat! Love the good deals on their shelled eggs, roasted chicken and organic chicken broth, they are a steal! I love my recent experiences with them on 2 freezer chests that I have ordered. Very good follow up and is free delivery! Got it in 4 days!

This has been my go to Costco for years and I've had no complaints but the day has come. I don't know what's the deal/policy is with these new Costco employees but I'm not appreciating it. I was paying with a cashier named "Jose" and he had the nerve to ask me "is this you on the card picture?" Note: I had no mask! I don't know if he's new or a transfer that he's trying to do the most at work but in reality it's making him look stupid and we as customers don't like people like this! Clearly it was me, not sure what he was trying to prove. My picture was even in color!Perhaps a new system is needed for checking cards, because this is not the one it makes one feel targeted Costco!
