This doctor is very experienced and naturally brilliant and that’s important for your furry family member. His staff are friendly and very professional. The office is very charming and really clean. I’ve been here twice already and would highly recommend Caring Hospital. Carl, ? ? says: “YES!”

I have a foster dog that needed a rabies shot. Every vet she's gone to has required heavy sedation and a muzzle, she's very difficult around men. Our rescue had to update her rabies vaccination and despite going to several vets in the area, Zelda wasn't comfortable enough to be handled. We had explained to each vet clinic the situation, and despite their knowledge, they still did not take the proper steps to ensure that she was comfortable. All of that changed when we went to Hayward animal clinic. The front staff was very professional and very compassionate Dr. Mangat was very soft-spoken and his kindness made Zelda very comfortable. He was so experienced with handling a difficult dog that he actually guided me and how to handle her for the vaccinations. I have fostered over 250 dogs and I have encountered a lot of veterinarians, but I was so impressed with this clinic and the way they handle the situation!

They claimed they handle feral cats, but I had a terrible experience. When I picked up the cat, they hadn't notched or cropped its ear. They used regular stitches instead of dissolvable ones and expected me to bring the feral cat back to have them removed. Really? It's a feral cat! When I insisted on getting the ear notched, the cat escaped and ran into the office. The doctor finally caught it and went back to notch the ear. Not sure if he even sedated the poor cat. Beware--horrible experience. Not even worth a 1 star

0 stars. Our beloved family dog was suffering and the vet refused to help until the following day. 0 empathy and unprofessionalism. We had to put our dog down somewhere else where they did care to help, while his vet refused. I always thought the veterinary was awful. Today I was proven correct.

PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING HERE Wanted my cat spade and ended up dead. Was given the excuse that they had been a complication with the anesthesia. But when they gave us the body back (wrapped in a trash bag) had bruises and a broken leg. I would not recommend for any owner who cares about the well being of their pet. Do not recommend and hope this place can be closed down.

Dr. Mangat is very responsive and thorough. My only complaint is the price of medications.

I have an American Staffordshire Terrier. He generally does not like men upon initial greetings. We've tried other vets and he growls at the male Dr's with aggression and makes it hard for them. He loved Dr. Mangat at first sight. They say dogs are a great judge of character and my dog loves Dr. Mangat. He is great and prices are fair. ✌️

Short version: very small office, brusque staff member (not sure if reception, vet/tech, or both), and a bit unkempt; 3 stars because this is clearly a small business that's been in business a long time and I'm sure they try to do their best considering they're still here--Full review:We are, admittedly, picky about where we take our pets and we both agreed we wouldn't be comfortable with this vet, though we didn't end up actually using them at all.For convenience, I'm sure this vet is fine. It's a bit tucked away and small, seemingly a one-man-show office. They have two separate doors/reception (cat side, dog side) with a small reception desk connecting them and a couple of seats on each side. The ground outside would easily burn paws on a hot day, like any cement, so that's important to keep in mind with dogs as there's really no shady path to the door.We had scheduled an appointment for a single vaccine (our usual vet had it on backorder) and scheduling alone was short and rude via phone. I let it go because I know most offices, especially small ones in bust areas like this, are typically busy. When we came in a few minutes early, no one was at the desk and it seemed quiet. We rang the bell and it must not have been heard. At our scheduled appt time, we waited (expecting someone to come out, knowing there was an appt on the books) but we ended up ringing the bell again. This time, someone came out and greeted us. Very curt, no nonsense. We ended up leaving because we would've been charged for a wellness visit that our dog had only a few months back at his usual vet, which I had already explained on the phone. Perhaps this was an off day or something but the whole interaction was off-putting as the person went through our paperwork and had us fill out a paper form, etc.Another thing that made us uncomfortable was all the paperwork and patient files right up front at reception. I understand it's a small office and space is limited but if you don't intend to have someone at the front desk regularly, what's to stop someone from coming in and grabbing those?I think if the interaction was more friendly/personable at all and the office showed a little more care, we might've reconsidered but bad vibes all around made the decision for us.

The worst ever! The opposite of caring and they do not care about your pets. My dog was very sick, went here for blood work and the vet only cared about his upcoming trip and refused to have his receptionist email us our dog's bloodwork for another vet to do an emergency operation.

DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HEREPLS READ AND OTHER COMMENTSI took my cat here and the doctor kept trying to get me to do so many unnecessary things done and then trying to charge me $650. I kept telling him I didn't want them and I only wanted a deworming medicine. They ended charging me for thing I didn't want. ALSO I HAD TO GO BACK BECAUSE THEY CHARGED ME FOR DEWORMING AND DID NOT GIVE IT TO ME. I forgot to mention that also that place smelled and looked dirty.PLS LOOK AT OTHER REVIEWS.DO NOT PUT YOUR PET IN DANGER.

They lost the remains of my pet of 15 years. I cannot believe they are allowed to stay in business. To others in a similar situation - you can dispute their charges with your credit card and get your money back due to the clear negligence of this reprehensible place
