Had one of their van drivers tailing me unsafely even though I was going over the speed limit. Clearly they have people working here with aggression issues, so I wouldn't be surprised if they treated their customers the same way.

I was driving down 580 from Emeryville in my girlfriends car this afternoon when a car on my left kicked up a rock and smashed my rear drivers side window. I got home half an hour later and immediately put out feelers on yelp for a window replacement, and Chris responded immediately, with a quote and that he could get the work done same day. Chris showed up to my complex an hour later with another gentleman and got right to work - they removed the old window, vaccumed up any broken glass, and popped the new one on all in about 45 minutes, telling me to leave the painters tape on for 2 days, presumably to let the adhesive/sealant cure. All in all, outstanding service, and Chris was friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend!

I had one small chip on my front windshield. Cal Bay Auto Glass was very quick and professional. They came to my apartment building and repaired the chip in ~20 mins or so. Much better deal than Safelite. Highly recommended.

Wasn't sure who to use as this was my first time needing to replace a windshield. So glad I chose Cal Bay. Chris and Leo were awesome! Chris called ahead of time to confirm the time/appt and arrived on time. Both were very professional, courteous, efficient and did a really wonderful job! Love the quality of glass they used. Even like it better than the original lol. Would definitely use Cal Bay again!

I love it when you get great service. I Yelp when it's bad and I YELP more when it's GREAT. Cal Bay Auto was GREAT. I was looking for glass replacement for my son's car. He got a rock ding... (sigh). I submitted a project through Yelp and I received tons of responses. Many were highly responsive, including Cal Bay Auto. They answered all my questions on a very timely basis and their price was fair. So I decided to go with them. When the day came to install, they got to my home (I chose mobile service), 10 minutes earlier and called me. Totally fine... I'm glad they were early versus late as sometimes that can happen. Two vans showed up, well labeled with their business name. 3 (or 4 people), I recalled... They were super professional and friendly. They got the job done quickly, price was the price. BOOM. DONE. All businesses should operate like this. I'd recommend them to friends and family for sure.

After a car window smash, I used yelp to request a quote from several local shops. Cal Bay was the first one to reply within the hour via the yelp messaging function. Their quote was neither the highest nor lowest, but the only one to offer on-call service and had the glass in stock. Less than 24 hours later, the window was fixed. The repair took less than one hour. In addition to replacing the window, they vacuumed the broken glass throughout the car, took out the door interior panel to remove fallen glass pieces trapped inside, and wiped down other panels where there may have been residual glass dust. Their thoroughness exceeded my expectations. Would hire them again if needed.

Our experience was great. They responded to a Yelp inquiry for an estimate for windshield replacement within 5 minutes. The price was reasonable and we were able to schedule an appointment within 2 days to meet our scheduling needs. The techs arrived on time, were professional and installed the windshield with no issues. It's been over a month since the installation and no problems at all. Would definitely recommend them.

My car was parked in a SJ garage overnight thinking it was safer than parking on the street. But nope the hoodlums got me & my cheap $1 sunglasses. Well YELP to the rescue with a quick simple request & sent 6 business an automatic message of I needed help ASAP! Cal Bay came texted quickly. Gave me a quote, after a few pics sent back and forth confirmed a time and price point that I felt was reasonable after doing some research & going to the dealer to see what prices they had. Chris called me with updates that he was getting my windows ( Yes 2 broken windows ) at their warehouse and would be on the way to my place. Within a few hours my windows was replaced, broken glass vacuumed. He gave me infor on what to do to get a reimbursement from my insurance if I had the replacement service which is on my next to do list after police report. Would definitely recommend Cal Bay.

I had a crack in my windshield that kept growing bigger and couldn't ignore it any longer. I got a quote from Cal Bay and it was the cheapest in the area for my a 2012 Chevy Volt. I dropped off the car next day and was told it'd take an hour and a half so I decided to get my nails done near by and they ended up getting it done in under an hour. The job was done quickly, with quality, and great customer service. I know who I'd call next time!

Pros: Did an inquiry through Yelp, and got a very quick response. The service was pretty fast (around 2-3 hours)! It was also the most affordable option in the Hayward area by $100 so I'd say it was a good option. Con: After getting the service done, I noticed that the window sounded like it wasn't sealed properly? Whenever I'm on the freeway, I can hear the air coming through the window - it's pretty noisy. I contacted through Yelp twice, and both times I was left on read. The air is better than a busted window, but I wish I could have gotten a response and help with a solution.

My polestar 2 left rear window got broken into in Oakland (lesson: park only in secure paid locations). I called around and only cal bay auto glass had the available part. Chris was very helpful and transparent in the pricing. I would highly recommend for folks living in hayward area.

Driving in the Bay Area and our many congested freeways, one's vehicle will be hit by road debris on more than one occasion. Of course this time the rock was big and came fast and cracked half my windshield. Luckily Cal Bay Auto Glass team is quick, responsive, fairly priced and they are willing to work with you to make sure to have you back on the road good as new. From the day before messaging to ensure they have my vehicles windshield, to arriving and getting it fixed in their shop for under an hour, They made the whole process less painful. I'm grateful when businesses like safelite want to charge double what these guys do. Highly recommend to give their business a try. They can also come to you if you need them to.
