Please avoid Dr Johri at your own risk.On 12/20/23, She was unprofessional and hostile during a video visit. After repeatedly yelling at me, she hung up on me while I was trying to explain the reason why I needed her medical attention. This is the second time, I have experienced this cruelty.I have complained about this doctor during my last office visit on 08/17/23.She was nice to other patients, but she was very mean to me.The hospital didn’t reprimand her. She is the cruelest doctor I have ever met in my entire life.

I saw Dr Karnani a few yrs back. She was thorough and professional with a great bedside manner. I am making an OBGYN appt and I hope to see her again.

I have been a part of Bay Valley for over 20 years and have had the pleasure of being treated by some of the most caring and amazing physicians. My primary care doctor Is Dr.Sharifi and he is incredible. He is genuine, caring, compassionate and always makes me feel secure that my health is in the best hands. His medical assistant Ana is wonderful. She is always on top of everything and makes each visit fun, quick, efficient, and smooth. I adore her. I feel blessed and honored to have my dream team looking after me and recommend them without hesitation.

All bad for patient care...Stanford Health Care is Awesome...but, SKIP THIS PLACE...possibly it's the neighborhood....go to Washington or Sutter...I had a head injury bleeding and I was triaged like I'm healthy...I can wait. I wish I can give them negative stars on yelp!

BayValley has gone down hill since merge with Stanford. I have called time after time with emergency. I have had asthma attacks and you call and say they will contact Dr. You could die and no one contacts you.For things a Dr can see me for I have to go to ER and pay$........ That my health app is a joke.

This place is a complete joke, I took off work just to be seen by a radiologist but once I got there the receptionist told me they have no one available. I did not make a big deal about and rescheduled but they called me up a second time telling me the same bs!! Not even sure who works there but clearly these people have no respect for their patience's time or situation. Stay far away from this place especially if you have a urgent matter because they do not care.

You can't have a better doctor than Dr. Karnani who has been putting up with me for yearsThat woman has the patience of JOB. Thankful for her she is thorough for sure.

This review is for the Oakland practice on Hawthorne. ATTN all pregnant women: All of their OB's are on maternity leave so they are not accepting any pregnant patients AND they do not have ANY other options for OB's who deliver at Alta Bates. If you are a high risk pregnancy and are looking for an OB, look elsewhere until at least February 2021.

I work for Stanford after having Kaiser for decades I decided to switch to Stanford. My wife make her first ever appointment (ob) after 2 weeks of waiting they cancel her appointment they called us late in the morning also. Dr. Stays will be on procedure that's why we are canceled they offer us another appointment with in 3 weeks OMG. They don't have any available Md to take over that day unlike Kaiser. We ask for day off for this and its wasted. This place is a Joke. Planning to move to Kaiser next year. Stanford should check what they affiliate first.

Dr. Young delivered my baby girl. I had a lot of complication during my pregnancy. She is very knowledgeable, understanding and caring. She is a problem solver. I was very nervous about delivery process, whether baby is healthy, billing, etc. Not only she provide the information I need, she took care of me. Making sure I didn't get the run around from other people, she work OT to delivery my baby, she suggest the towel method. Which not a lot of people use. (God, it was so useful). she response to my email very quick. I think she is great doctor. Didn't think I will make it without her.

I've been through a few doctors here already and hope they have more available good physicians that will stay. They seem to move on after a few years. The place is easy to find. They have updated the outside of the building but the inside decorations it's still the same. They is plenty available parking spots. It's been awhile since my last review and this place has gotten so much better now they are affiliated with Stanford Hospital!! Appts and communication is so much better especially using their app. Everything is all computerized and logged for you to view your test results of appts. I can see records of my appt records instantly instead of looking for paperwork. My new physician is Jaya Karnani and she's great!! Very smart, nice and in tune with her patients. Her nurse assistance Lovelle is great, too!! This is what I look for in a doctors office team when I need to see them. Both lovely ladies are ones to go to but doctor Jaya is popular and it's hard to make an appt with her. Other staff there are nice as well. I recommend this office since they have almost everything don't at this facility. [87/100]

This is really a review for Dr. Kala Chandler and her team! When I first got connected to Bay Valley Medical Group it was because I had Stanford Healthcare Alliance health insurance for being an SHC employee. I found Dr. Chandler back then even before my pregnancy and thought she was the sweetest, kindest and funniest OB/GYN. Fast forward a few years later and I get to work with her closely during our first pregnancy! I knew back then that I wouldn't want any other doctor to be there for us during our pregnancy. Also, all the staff in the clinic are friendly and communicate well with us. Great office with great staff!
