I hate this parts store. I hatd to order a part and come back the next day. Then they sold me the wrong part i had to go back then the person at counter just stood up and left without saying a word. Don't ever transact business with them.

I purchased a vehicle a little over a year ago as well as an extended warranty, my car was totaled by a drunk driver thus my insurance paid off the car, Toyota Financial told me to contact the dealer I bought the vehicle from for a return of the extended warranty, well after many, many phone calls, emails and text messages I have had no resolution, I've left messages with the finance department, with the salesperson I dealt with to no avail, I am very very disappointed

AutoNation Toyota Hayward is on Mission where most of the car dealerships are. I came here a few times to do my maintenance/service when my usual spot is full/not available. There were not much places to walk around nearby, so I either just stayed in the lounge/waiting area or have someone pick me up to help kill some time. This location has been a bit bad at contacting you when your vehicle is done - you are left wondering if it is done, so you have to either contact them or just show back up and ask them, and it usually is done, but they do not think to inform you, nor do they apologize. Other than that, no major complaints.

disappointment with a recent experience at your service center, specifically regarding a discrepancy between the information provided on your website and the instructions given by your staff on-site. According to your website, customers are led to believe that express services, such as oil changes, do not require an appointment. This was the primary reason I chose to visit your service center. However, upon my arrival, I was informed by the manager that an appointment was, in fact, necessary. This contradiction not only caused inconvenience but also disappointment due to the mismatch between the advertised service protocol and the actual service protocol enforced by your staff. I took the opportunity to discuss this matter with the manager on duty, suggesting that updating the website to reflect the need for appointments for all services could prevent future customer dissatisfaction. Surprisingly, the manager acknowledged that this would be a sensible update, yet there seemed to be a lack of initiative to implement such a necessary change. This interaction left me with the impression that customer feedback and satisfaction are not prioritized.

WORST used car sales service. Do NOT buy a certified or used car from AutoNation Toyota Hayward. Just look at what they did to my vehicle while I left it to be fixed for paint chips after I purchased it!! I bought a 2020 Highlander XLE hybrid and it took a whole month to get a front bumper paint chip fixed and hood aligned, AND it was only done because I continuously called them to schedule an appointment. I live 1 hour away and I had to go 4 times, 4 TIMES! All because they didn't coordinate things properly and because they had told me it was ready when it wasn't. And when I FINALLY took it home, I'm dumb and didn't check the whole vehicle, I only checked the area that was to be fixed. Well as soon as I got home I went to open the trunk, and I noticed they had HIT THE SUV!! They hit the trunk and back bumper during the time it was left for service for 4 days. AND the inside was stained, when I was told by Erick it was going to be detailed. This is by far the worst service I've ever gotten from a dealership. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else because if this is the service I get for a certified vehicle, imagine a used car that doesn't go through a very detailed inspection. Oh and my sales man Omid was no help whatsoever. Erick the sales manager was worse. Respectful when spoken to, but lacks communication and apparently doesn't check to make sure everything is done properly. As he is the one I dealt with the whole time. They also wanted to only give me 1 master key, when the inspection for a certified vehicle states that they need to provide 2 master keys. It took me threatening to call corporate for Erick, the sales manager, to finally call me back and get it done. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Hopefully nothing else is wrong with my vehicle.

Summary: Don't go here. Don't waste your time. They set a new low for car salespeople. The person we were assigned didn't know about the car, and couldn't answer basic technical questions. He acted in extremely sexist ways, and said a lot without imparting much information. We finally asked for another salesperson, who was at least able to answer the more technical questions, and got a different person. The second person answered a few questions, then handed us back the person we had asked to not work with twice for the test drive. By the end of the test drive, even though we liked the car, it was clear the salesman wasn't interested in the sale and was willing to make up answers when he didn't know, so we left. Two days later, I got texts addressing me by the wrong name yet again, and rudely asking if we were still interested in the car. We ended up taking an afternoon off work and going to Toyota 101 in Redwood City instead, and got great service.

*This recommendation so for the service department ONLY* A huge shout out to Jim Smith for handling my service request on my Toyota Tacoma! I haven't been to a dealership in a while because either I work on my cars myself that needs servicing or I have EVs that don't need servicing. But I have a 2023 Tacoma now and I thought might as well get the free oil change because why not. I am not going to lie because my rig is heavily modified with lifts, 35 inch tires and everything so I didn't know if it was a good idea or not but to my surprise, the techs did go through the full inspection (even though I didn't give them my spline wheel keys) and did find out that my brakes were missing clips (most likely because we just came back from some intense mud and sand wheeling in Baja). But here's the best part, the tech sent me a video showing me what was missing, Jim ordered the clips and sliders and after an additional day it's all fixed and ready to go. Highly recommend Jim and his team and will definitely come back again for servicing!

Five starts to sales associate Johnny Tavares however, I feel the team around you is a little disassociated with customer service, ethics, and fair practices. We've taken our money and business elsewhere. It's hard to believe we purchased a premier Electric car for HALF the APR that Toyota finance was "negotiating" with us. So something was definitely off with our experience. We came in with a goal and budget and after going from a budget vehicle to a RAV4 the price seemed to climb with each quote even after waiting weeks on end for the right car, color, and interior, to come in, and even asked for some base models but the price still continued to rise with each quote. The final straw was in finance, keys in hand and all, where we were told we could not leave the dealership without a protection package for the car however, the Toyota from the same dealership we purchased a little over 14 months ago we were able to pick and choose what "extended warranties and protection options" we would opt for. The man at finance kept threatening about the windshield, the tires, and we exclaimed we did not want to go over budget which seemed to go in one ear and out the other. His demeanor a little condescending, rude, and only looking out for their wallet and/or goals but not the customers needs. We even said maybe this is not the right car let's talk about a cheaper model and that seemed to anger the finance man more. We were willing to make a purchase just not over budget. Additionally, they need to understand that when there is no inventory to test drive or even look at a vehicle, coupled with quick selling tactics, and lack of transparency in finance makes this branch hard recommend or return to ever again.

What a great experience! I bought a used Subaru Outback from this dealer and couldn't be more happier with the experience. I had been ready to do battle during a day of test driving used cars at multiple dealerships. I really appreciate their no nonsense pricing and straight forwardness. Associate Amiri took me on a test drive and had great knowledge about the car, he answered all of my questions and set up everything for the Finance manager Alex. I really appreciated Alex's friendly professional approach; he was able to process the paperwork very quickly. I had to go back a few days later ( my fault, not theirs) where Rock helped get the car detailed and set up for me to drive away. Rock was very professional as well and carried on the great customer service. I will definitely buy a car from them again. Thanks Team!

Highly recommend not to come here for maintenance services when time to pay out of pocket. Service reception contact didn't provide an itemized breakdown of maintenance costs ahead of service when requested. After service, they charged $350 in labor for 1) oil change + tire rotation, 2) engine filter change, and 3) cabin filter change. All of this shouldn't take more than an hour, so $350 didn't seem honest. Total bill was $550 for these services. Looking for alternative place for my maintenance services now

I would give them 0 star if I can. I regret to inform that my experience with Autonation Toyota Hayward, and by extension the entire Autonation group, has been profoundly disappointing. In late October 2023, I purchased a 2019 VW e-Golf from them. Initially, I noticed the car was missing its front logo. An employee, Kyler, assured me that the part was ordered and would be fixed shortly. Trusting his word, I proceeded with the purchase. However, this marked the beginning of a series of unfulfilled promises and evasions. Despite repeated attempts to contact Kyler and another employee, Francisco, about the logo, my calls were either abruptly ended or went unanswered. Emails and texts were initially met with vague assurances, but soon there was no response at all. The situation worsened when I discovered a discrepancy in the vehicle registration. I bought the car in late October, paying for a full year's registration, only to find out that the registration was valid from September 2023 to September 2024, a period during which I did not own the car. Having purchased vehicles previously, I have had positive dealership experiences, which perhaps led to a degree of complacency on my part. However, this experience with Autonation Hayward has been eye-opening. It's disheartening to encounter such unprofessionalism and dishonesty in an industry where trust is paramount. For those considering a visit to Autonation Toyota Hayward, I would urge caution based on my experience. It's important to remember that while there are individuals striving to make positive contributions, others may not hold the same ethical standards.

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! I bought a car back in September and when I was purchasing the car they were SOO helpful and promised to fix the bumper on a Toyota Camry that I bought. I took it on after almost 13 times I called and emailed and they scheduled me. I brought the car in and they got me a v8 rental spent 200$ on gas came back two days later , mind them I was coming in from an hour away . I call and text and Carlos and the service team say the car is ready . I show up pick up the car and they didn't even touch the bumper! So basically I left it for nothing. Wasted gas money, I took two days off , to go and come back , and I'm now attempting to contact them and NO RESPONSE. Please save your money and go else where . They are Inconsiderate human beings
