This is a trend. My case work “A. Perez” is a total and complete joke! He filed my paperwork wrong and refuses to answer the phone or correct my ACTIVE account to allow for the company to send me a new EBT card. I’m told he is the only one who can fix this and he sucks at doing his job. These people are pathetic. I’ve called and left messages at all different business hours for MONTHS and none of these people answer or return calls. Their minds aren’t developed enough to run a business for people in need. PATHETIC people get hired here to ignore those truly in need. I’ve spent hours at this office with no result. You people should be ashamed of yourselves.

So bad service,I came three times just to change the address, waited for 2 hours, but in the end my address was never changed.workers are just sleeping.

Apparently my case was more complicated then it seemed. It took 3 people to look into it to try and understand why my medical was discontinued. Once the right person saw it, all smooth from there. Everyone was so sweet and helpful. Thank you for all the hard work you do and deal with our issues.

Very helpful ppl work here, very secure as Sheriffs is present and has a dispatch in Lobby with access to all cameras. Only 4 stars because they are a bit understaffed and you can expect to be there 2+ hrs to get your number called

It’s been 2 months , still no call back from ms.Moore or L.Huang the supervisor. Only have received one call back when I first applied about documents I submitted over a month ago now. Currently pregnant and still have received no help.

Daaaamn thought I was alone in this but I read the first about 20 reviews and they’re all same. Guess they don’t read the reviews or flat out don’t care cause it’s not like any of (the people that matter) us can do much more than write a bad review but it’s the honest truth. Who’s the common denominator in this equation?! Yeah I was jus on hold for about an hour and a half n I’m callin bout my calfresh balance?! My living situation keeps getting worse n that food assistance is my lifeline but I signed up in march and have gotten nothing but they tell me I’m gettin the max amount due to my situation but where is it?! Just cause we can’t do more than write a bad review they treat us like covid patient zero, we already doin bad as it is but to come get help already is hard and a shot at our priden dignity but they also gotta add on! Cmon guys you can do better I’m sure the ones that know this applies to them won’t be gettin any good karma anytime soon. Well I don’t wanna keep airing them out so to all my unfortunate people “don’t worry about a thing every lil thing gonna be alrite”

Less than one star. The customer support is a scam and constantly says "call volume is high hang up and call again". How can it be high when I call immediately at opening time?!! I'm just trying to get a hold of my medical tax form, which they sent to the wrong address the first time, and then they said they resent it to the right address and it would be there in 30 days. Well its been 65 days and there's no form in sight. If I never get this form, I'm going to have to pay a tax penalty even though I've had insurance this whole time. If anyone from Alameda Social Services is reading this, PLEASE HELP ME! This system is totally messed up.

Worst place ever! They made me wait over four hours for a service which caused because of their own mistake. They mistakenly updated my income as zero which triggered my covered ca and me and my spouse got our insurance terminated.Although its their fault, they made me wait since 10 a.m told me that a supervisor will double check everything but in front of me they were chit chatting and then went to lunch without assisting clients. You cant actually expect too much from professionals here with bareminimum education and civic sense. Its now 1 o clock and we havent been taken care off.

I've been trying to call them for months, including a caseworker assigned to me, and apparently nobody ever works there, because I have only ever gotten voicemail or been on hold for HOURS at a time. This place is utter garbage.

nobody ever answers , when they do they’re rude as hell for no reason. Got assigned a caseworker and her supervisor both NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER answer the phones. they’ve even picked up and then just hung up it’s ridiculous at this point. No reason why you assign case workers and from day one they CANNOT be reached. Makes ZERO SENSE. K.moore and L. Huang make it very hard to get assistance. What’s the point is being a caseworker if your clients can never ever reach you. Currently pregnant as well as Me and my son need immediate assistance and haven’t been able to reach ANYONE.

My worker, Alana didn't bother to return my voicemails and only called me once throughout. This is frankly unacceptable.its look like they are just earning by not doing anything.Went in to ask about calfresh because my worker wasn't returning any of my 20-30 calls or 5-10 voicemails throughout the 3 weeks I was given.i am trying to talk with them from last 1 month. i almost call them everyday. but alway wait for more than 1 hour on hold and after 1 hours the call disconnected automatically.we are accepting help from them but i think they need more help.
