Rick and Mark were AMAZING! They provided me with so much information, answered all my questions, and reassured me as a first time buyer. Came in to the Ford dealer and was greeted by Mr. Nick Ponce. He was patient and well informed on the vehicles I wanted to purchase. He walked the lot with me and broke down the specs on each car I liked. He was able to help me get into a vehicle of my choice without feeling rushed or pressured. His knowledge of the vehicles was a plus in making my choice.
Mr. Adolfo worked with me to find a reasonable payment plan that was within my budget.
Overall I give this dealership a 10 plus for great inventory, knowledge salespersons as well as finance personnel, and friendly environment . Definitely recommended.

I was in the market to purchase a new 2025 Explorer. Called the dealership to see if one was available. I spoke with the Sales Consultant D’Morea Walker. When he informed me at the time it was in transit. During the the time he helped me get the best deal for the car (which was; I tried two other dealers and not even close to the deal that I got).
When I was working with the Finance Manager Jose Sanchez he worked with me to get a great deal with the warranty options. He also made the completion of the paperwork pleasant.
In all I have purchased quite a few Ford vehicles from Ford Dealerships and I have to say this has been my best experience yet.

We came to look at a Lincoln, having seen good reviews but knowing little about the vehicle. We were helped by Chris Quinn, who thoroughly explained the features and aspects of the car we were viewing. After a lot of deliberation we decided to purchase the Lincoln and Chris was extremely attentive, guiding us through the process. I highly recommend this dealership and, specifically, Chris!

DO NOT BRING YOUR HYBRID HERE
I brought my 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid to South Bay Ford due to inverter over-temperature codes that was shutting my car down and to get my broken AC repaired. After several days, they told me the issue was the transmission, a $6500 repair. This diagnosis was surprising, as my car showed no signs of transmission problems, and the specific issue could be caused by several other things.
When I pressed for details, I got vague responses and wasn’t allowed to speak with any of the mechanics who supposedly looked at my car—three, according to them—which was a huge red flag. It became clear they did little more than plug in a scanner (something i'd already done myself) as part of their $200 so-called "service" fee. A week went by with little communication, despite promises of a callback. When I finally went to pick up my car, they hadn’t even looked at the AC, which thankfully they removed from the from the fee.
Frustrated, I took my car to Hybrid Republic nearby. Within 15 minutes of opening the hood, they diagnosed the issue: a broken air conditioning system, which cools the hybrid battery and can cause the inverter to overheat. The repair cost me around $600 including parts. After fixing it, I took my car on a 200-mile road trip in the dead heat, and the issue was gone.
At Hybrid Republic, they were way more communicative about the issue, transparent about the costs, and walked me through step by step what they thought the problem was and what was needed to fix it.
It’s clear to me now that South Bay Ford either jumped to the conclusion that the issue was with the transmission or knew that it could be fixed by repairing the AC but saw an opportunity to charge me for a more expensive transmission repair. I suspect they’re used to dealing with a certain type of customer—affluent and uneducated about car mechanics—who’s willing to drop thousands of dollars on unnecessary repairs.
I wouldn’t recommend taking any Ford car to this dealer, especially hybrids. My experience was sketchy, to say the least, and I will not be returning.

Jesse in the service department is a great man he took care of my sister and I when we came in for routine maintenance. He made it very easy for us. He even made sure that my sisters car got fully detailed before she picked it up! Thank you Jesse!
