I've rented a car at this location twice.
I was assisted by the wonderful employee, Nathan, who is a true professional. The entire process took no more than 5 minutes, including the car return. The vehicle was clean and in excellent condition. I thoroughly enjoyed driving the new BMW X5 and came back to try the Z4.
Thank you, Nathan, for your help, and thank you, Sixt, for the wonderful cars at an affordable price.

Sixt always provides great service, highly quality luxury cars and a very easy transaction process. Dealing with Artur has been an absolute pleasure, super friendly and knowledgeable, and is a great leader, I think he's a manager. Very different experience with Sixt. Thanks!

Stay away! I knew better than to rent with non-named rental company, but I was in a hurry and rented a regular sized SUV and paid up front. The day of the rental a gentlemen who was all alone with nothing to do asked me my name and said Oh, it looks like I can put you in a Jetta today, LOL. The old bait and switch! No phone call prior warning me, no text, no email, nothing. So, I went down the street to Avis and had no problems. Be weary of these non-named rental companies.

Exceptional Service from Nathan at Sixt
I want to express my gratitude to Nathan at the Sixt branch in Long Beach Downtown. He handled my request with exemplary professionalism. Not only did he assist with the return of my car, which was originally scheduled for Los Angeles Airport, but he also stayed after 5 PM despite the branch being closed to finalize my contract. Additionally, he handed me the keys to my new long-term rental, a BMW i4, and I can't wait to drive it. Thank you, Nathan, for your dedication and excellent service!*****

Nathan at the downtown Long Beach location had excellent customer service and was very detailed and patient letting me know what to expect regarding my car rental. He got me on the road in no time and also him being funny was just an added bonus lol. I also love that there is so much you can change or add online/with the App without having to call. Thank you Nathan for going above and beyond I will be back again !

First of all, the situation is, I am an Asian who went on a business trip to Long Beach, California, and came here to reserve a rental car. At first, I received an answer that there was a car, but since I entered the date as two days, I asked to reduce it to the same day. Then, they said they were going to check internally (perhaps they checked with the manager?), but suddenly they said there was no car.
It may be a misunderstanding caused by my lack of English communication, but if I were to review just based on my personal feelings, 'If it takes two days, it still makes money, so I can take the risk of a foreign Asian who can't communicate, but because it doesn't make money for one day, I just don't take the risk and don't have a car.' I felt like I was answering.
Sorry if this is a misunderstanding, but I will record my understanding here.

Awful experience. They simply did not honor the reservation saying that they did not have the car. And then offered an upgrade but charging 50% more…….am I wrong to expect to get a higher class car for the same price I originally booked?
A shame as was enjoying being a Sixt customer so far but after being left stranded in Long Beach on the first day of vacay with my family is a deal breaker.
I called Hertz and they got me a car on no time.

Worst service ever. They didn’t honor our reservation and did nothing to offer a solution. Just said they can’t help. Do not go there.
