I have been bringing cars here for over 20+ years when Jay was running it. Jay retired approximately 6 months ago (May 2023).I recently called to see if they could dismantle an alarm system that was draining my battery. Caesar quoted me over the phone and saw me as soon as I rolled up. For one reason or another, he could not dismantle the "factory set alarm". Had it been an aftermarket alarm, he would have easily taken care of it. However, Caesar was amazing in recommending Ted Perez with Lexus Automotive Service that had been in the same lot for over 25+ years but recently moved to 3820 El Segundo Blvd., Unit E2, Hawthorne, CA 90250. I appreciate referrals when I can get them, especially when it's for great businesses being run by decent human beings.

This guy was cool at first but he lied to me all the way around. Idk why people do that. I asked for 5% ceramic tint upfront but it isn't I can still see through the windows. He then didn't even tint my front windshield because he wanted to work on other people's cars. He left the job half way done. The tint job was to be desired for. Improper cuts everywhere. Save yourself some money and go to someone way more professional.

I have a 06 E90 BMW 325xi and they did an amazing job. Prices are great and so is the customer service. I took in my head unit that I bought off crutch field and got it installed with them and they were very fast to get to work on it if I could give a higher rating I would these guys did an amazing job I recommend completely!

This place is awesome. Their service is over the top. All workers are expert on what they are doing, and the owner has a wonderful personality. I really enjoyed working with him.I highly recommend this place for tint, stereo and alarm system for any cars.

I've now had three of my cars fully tinted here and have been so happy with the results. My last car was a Tesla, which is not the easiest to do just because of the size of the windows, but it came out perfect. The shop was able to get me in the same week I called and worked on it right away. The shop owner is a funny guy and always answered any questions I had. I will definitely keep coming back to this shop for any other tint needs.

Amazing. I have been going to Jay for the last 20 years. He has mostly done window tint service on my cars, but he has also done other aftermarket work. I have recommended Jay to all my family and friends. They have all gone and had the same experience. Jay is a staple in Hawthorne and a leader in the field. His customer service is unbeatable. Jay and crew at Prairie Auto Sound are the best!I've been going there for years. Jay not only does car stereos/window tint, but also installation of a multitude of car accessories for just about every type of make and model. Jay's pricing is quite reasonable and the work done is exceptionally good and fast.

My review has been long overdue. I really can't say enough good things about this place, I drive from Downy just to get my car needs from here. Jay has been the guy who helped me out since the start. This place has a great selection. Jay really knows his stuff and always works with me. I Already had a sound system installed, tint, and car alarm. Jay definitely has me as a return customer for my tint and stereo installation of my second car. No matter your financial situation, Jay will definitely work with you. Great customer service, great selection, waiting room with a tv and cold water. Good location, restaurants and shops near by to kill time while you wait for your car. Five stars all the way, ask for Omar and you won't be disappointed.

I found this shop when I needed my vehicle windows tinted. The owner and the employees were very professional and helpful. The job was completed in a timely manner, and the finished product was excellent! Such a great experience, I came back to have my wife's vehicle windows tinted.

The team at Prairie Auto is super friendly and helpful, especially the owner Jai! I drove from OC to get a window tint service and it was well worth it. Spectacular quality and attention to detail -- they clearly value their craftsmanship because it shows. I couldn't have had a better experience. Highly recommend here!
