“Let me tell you about an excellent experience i had at this shop. I am from Israel and i am new to this neighbourhood so i came to make some keys and it was amazing. The hospitality and the generosity of this man Dimitris is unbelievable.Great key cutting and great prices on mail box rentals.”
“My husband and I have a private Box this location, and this has been by far the best choice we could have made. The employees here are some of the nicest, most helpful people I have ever met. They always greet us with a smile and go the extra mile to make sure our shipping needs are met. I can say for certain that I have never had a USPS experience as good as the one at the location, and I will go out of my way to continue being a customer here for the foreseeable future”

8726 S Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles“Needed a document notarized last week. Although I have mailed packages from Mail Call, I didn't realize they offered notary services. I walked in and the employee (I think it was Tyler) was on the phone and I had to wait a few minutes. I was impressed by how professional he was while speaking to the customer. It only took a few minutes to get my paperwork notarized. So convenient! Want to add that although the UPS Store in Westchester also provides notary service, you need to make an appointment. Mail Call was easier for me since I was just able to walk in. Thanks for the great, friendly service!”
“I never thought I'd be posting a 5 star review for a USPS, but here I am! This review is mainly for Larry, who seems like a star employee based on other reviews as well. He's just SO friendly and helpful, and made sure that my many, many wedding invitations were "hand-canceled" - they all made it to their recipients without issues!! Thank you Larry!”
“The historic post office at 900 Alameda Street in Los Angeles, also known as the Los Angeles Central Postal Facility, is a significant architectural and historical landmark. Completed in 1934, this building is a prime example of the Beaux-Arts style, featuring a grand façade with classical detailing and an imposing presence. Its design reflects the importance of the postal service during that era and showcases the artistry of the time.
The building's interior is equally noteworthy, with elegant spaces and intricate design elements that highlight the period’s craftsmanship. Over the years, it has been a vital center for mail distribution and has played an important role in the city's development.
Despite the changes in postal operations and usage over the decades, the facility remains a prominent example of historical architecture and an enduring symbol of Los Angeles' growth and modernization. Its preservation and continued significance make it a valuable landmark in the city’s architectural heritage.”
“I’ve been to this USPS a handful of times, and the staff has always been very nice and helpful. Like any USPS, there’s often a line, but twice while I’ve been in here one staff member has come out to answer any questions from the line, which really expedites the process. Overall, only good experiences for me at this USPS!”
“Never crowded, always helpful, which is saying a lot for the USPS these days. Whenever we have the time to drive a bit farther to drop off a package, we stop here.”
“Shout out to Ms Renita!
Thank you for your help today (08/16/24).
Positive attitude, approachable, knowledgeable and very helpful.
I wish there's more like you. You have no idea how much you cheered me up today. Thank you.”
“While the hours are less than to be desired at this local annex to the larger Post Office this makes up for in its lovely and helpful employees. Most associate the post office with stress. This is not that location. It’s all about how they can help and they are always professional and very friendly. High fives all around although I wish they had abbreviated Saturday hours to avoid the Sepulveda location which is poorly located with so much traffic.”
“Shout out to Euginda at this USPS branch who made my experience here amazing. Due to my own carelessness, I came into the branch right before closing time, but Euginda patiently took the time to help me with the international forms and all, even past closing time.
We got everything done and I left feeling great and deeply appreciative of how the staff here went out of their way to help me out.
Really exemplary conduct as compared to many other places in America.”
“I came at 9 AM and there was a short line, I just think they need to clean the building and when I asked the staff for a sticker he said no but other USPS have given no problem”
“I had to mail a package internationally and Erica at the USPS Miracle Mile branch in LA was amazing! 10/10 she was efficient, informative and friendly.
Between the loud construction outside and personnel shortages, I know it is a struggle to go to post offices but I think the employees there do their best. Professional & efficient.”
“Typically I loathe going to the Post Office as much as the DMV. Today however I had the most pleasant experience and here are the reasons why. 1. Parking was readily available ( This post office has a good amount of spaces and there is residential parking available as well. 2. The line was non-existent ( There might have been one person ahead of me in line. PRO-TIP: If you come before 11:30 the line is smaller, they tend to get busier in the afternoon) 3. Pleasant customer service ( Ms. Lucy was kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. She even double-checked a shipping policy of the receiving address to make sure packages were still being accepted. Thank you Ms. Lucy you're awesome!) I will definitely keep this Post Office in my rotation.”
“I don’t think I’ve every had a more pleasant experience at a post office. Walked in with a pre labeled box and another box with a preprinted label. walked out 10 seconds later”

1007 N Sepulveda Blvd, Manhattan Beach“This was the second USPS I visited to deliver an Operation Santa gift. The first office I visited wasn't trained nor knowledgeable of the service I was explaining. The male worker at the Manhattan Beach USPS that assisted me was very knowledgeable, quick and efficient. I would return to this USPS to continue using their services, even after the holidays.”
“Stopped by this Saturday at around noon and it was a decent size line. Jonathan and Norma (only 2 tellers at the time) took care of all us in timely manner as the line moved along without issues. The people at the post office do a phenomenal job with the customer service. Our local mail carrier does a great job as well. Keep up the good work USPS! ? ?”

6695 Green Valley Cir, Culver City“No one expects a visit to the post office, bank or dentist to be pleasant. And yet every time I go to this location I find the customer service of the staff I interact with to be exceptional for the area. They keep the items stocked, will explain costs and postage options in detail and are generally willing to work with folks of all experience levels to get what they need done. I don’t ever feel rushed nor have I found them to be unpleasant no matter the day or length of line. We also have more self service kiosks than Inglewood’s offices. And better stamp variety.”
“[Review #759]2023-045I couldn't remember why I came to this US Post Office in Lomita when there's a perfectly good one down the street about 1/2-mi. from my house in Torrance off Monterey St. However, I did remember why I visited this location... I needed my expired passport to be renewed & we had already booked our flights which departs in 47 days (08/12/19). Gulp! I had to pay a $60 surcharge for the expedited service. It was hump day (06/26/19) with less than 2 hours before closing. I had all my paperwork & expired passport, but wasn't organized with it & still needed to write a check. When you're frazzled, it would be nice to have some reassurance from the postal worker that I have everything in order. She wasn't friendly or all that helpful, but I got everything in the envelope & paid extra for expedited service. Sigh... when I was kid, I really enjoyed quick chats with our mail carriers & looked forward to our letters & packages. I always get a "hello" in, especially during summers when I'm not in school; things have changed a lot since. In any event, I received my new passport the weekend before our trip with 4 days to spare. Whew... talk about the 11th hour! o_O This was our last international trip before the COVID-19 lockdown. We were fortunate for this trip because it was the last time my kids saw their great grandmother in person before she passed on (RIP mormor). Grateful for the speedy return of my passport, but wish the personnel were a bit friendlier.”
8:30AM - 5PM
3826 Grand View Blvd, Los Angeles“I have to say this post office is a lot better than most that I have seen! Employees are nice, this one is always busy but its place in a very busy residential and business area, so expect to wait in line but then there are days there are very short lines, I come here quite often, to mail packages out. I get done what I need to do, I have never encountered a problem with this one!”
“BEST PLACE EVER!!! Super professional and helpful, fantastic energy You have to come here, they're much quicker than the post office plus you can get more stuff done in one place! Amazing shop I'm not going anywhere else”
“Nice little post office. Small parking lot. Available packaging supplies are inside the lobby. Lines are short when I visit. So you get in and get out, faster than most post offices. This post office is right across the street from South Gate high school. So it wouldn't be a good idea to go during school release times, due to traffic and congestion. Otherwise, this is a great post office for your mailing and shipping needs.”
“A black American lady received us well. Tracking packages of anything, I lost the luggage that I dropped off with a value of almost $300 with transfer fees $131 from the scam”
9AM - 5PM
1455 W Redondo Beach Blvd, Gardena“They are very active. Packages are processed on a daily basis. Unlike Torrance's, they have a delay of a day or two in processing cheap packages such as First-class .”
“The customer service representative was nice and helpful. She was patient and answered to my questions. Chose the best option for me. Compared to other locations that I want she had outstanding customer service. I will definitely go back to this post office if I have a chance.”
“If you're looking for a reliable and efficient Post Office, look no further! I've been using this location for years, and they consistently deliver excellent service. Whether it's sending packages, purchasing stamps, or seeking assistance, the staff is always friendly, organized, and knowledgeable. They make every visit a pleasant one.”
“Me gusta esta pequeño pero ,muy amables muy eficientes las chicas, yo boy en la tarde cuando salgo de mi trabajo nunca hay gente muy rápido el servicio y con buena atención sobretodo uno de los pocos correos que tienen muy buena manera de tratar a los clientes por que la mayoría de correos tienen un personal muy pésimo hablado de carácter.”
“I am very happy with the service I've gotten at the PO at 4216 Pacific Coast Hwy Torrance. They seem to go out of their way to be helpful and I appreciate that.”
“Nina is the best!!!! So friendly and so helpful. Went above and beyond to help me even though I showed up late almost at closing.... Yes I was that person! Thanks Nina!!”
“I remain loyal to the post office and its ability to provide quality service despite the Postmaster Generals attempts to send it to privatization. This particular branch shows me that my hope for the future of service to the public can overcome bad policy decisions. My mom and other family members were postal employees, as was I for 4 years in the 1960's. I appreciate good service and as a former window clerk, I really commend them for bringing their "A" game.”
