Love these guys. Been doing my taxes for a few years and my father used them for his taxes throughout the years through Northrop. They've been absolutely wonderful. I think they're very smart I love Stanley I love Charles and I even love the new girl maxine. A great team

He is one of my worst dream I have in my life experience please never give yours business to him . First he and his family is rude and this year I went I did my taxes last week and I usually charge $350 for joint return but last week as I was fully prepared and he spend 30 mins because of my past bad experiences I have him on my time clock .After he was done with my tax's I was going to write him check for $350 but he asked for $620 and when I question him why you hiked price double . He become Angry and spoke see Gas price is up so is the paper price ! Even less papers was used this time he was so mad but I confronted him if he want me to pay double he should have told me . He did not disclosed even verbally so I should have agree with charges . He spend total 45 mins as all information was presented to him . I came home and felt been assault and abuse by him second time . Last year I requested a copy of over tax return as it was file jointly first his doughier do not want to give me copy and was very angry to me and to my wife but finally it was 29 pages and he charge me$ 40 for copy as I have horrible experience with past I decided to take this matter in my hand . I have to stop my payments for check with $30 And have to canceled my bank card and offer him the $350 cash . But today I find out he did not file over tax's unless we pay him full amount . He never discussed or disclosed that he has raised his price double in writing or even verbally. Just after finish he boot me for $620 and if we don't agree he will have attorneys and take us to court . I am going to the end of this road to the court to end this kind of harassment and threat to stop I want whole word to know and CPA Board of lic to follow . I Will mail complaint to board and see this business should not take advantage of simple people. I have to find someone else to file over tax's in time Feel free to contact me if you need more proof and information Good luck if you still go there

I was a very satisfied customer since 2005 -2019. When Mr McNair did my taxes he was always respectful, patient and professional. Since Mr McNair passed on the business to a family member in 2019 i have recieved horrible customer service from Charles Gardner. On 2-22-22 i walked into the McNair office to request for a copy of my 2020 tax return that was done by McNair Tax Service. The receptionist was nice and welcoming and remembered me. After finding my file she asked if i wanted it emailed i said no due to my phone not recieving emails. And i requested a print copy. Charles gardner said that he will print it this time with a fee of $10.00, i agreed to pay. While over hearing the number of pages to be printed i asked if i could see my taxes. Charles Gardner got annoyed and in a condescending behavior he questioned why i needed to see my taxes and he began to yell and say im being difficult and began to show his frustration and told me to make up my mind do i want it emailed or printed. I told him that im asking to see what pages i wanted printed because EDD would only need 2-3 pages and they did not need to print 30 or more pages. Charles said then come on back in an aggressive upset tone. I asked him what was wrong with him and that im not being difficult. He began to tell me that if i didnt like his behavior that i don't have to return to do my taxes with him. Again i told him that the receptionist saw i asked politely and was not being difficult. He proceeded to raise his voice and said i am difficult and that last year he had to do my taxes over because i had 2 additional w2. He said you k ow you remember being difficult. I was in disbelief how this man whos supposed to represent himself with patience, professionalism and provide great customer service was lacking that. Now i had to defend myself from his allegations and began to tell Charles Gardner that him fixing my taxes has nothing to do with me trying to obtain a copy of my 2020 taxes that i agreed to pay $10.00 even when he told me that the price is still $10.00 for 3 pages or 39 pages. I reminded him that my taxes were Amended because i discovered that my W2s were duplicated and that i paid an additional fee for it to be Amended. So he had no business bringing that up. The anger in his voice and yelling down to me was more than i could take and i began to cry and told him i had to many problems to now be dealing with with his bad behavior towards me. Out of the almost 17 years i have done my taxes with Mr McNair this was the worst humiliating experience due to Charles Gardner who took over the business now that Mr McNair retired in 2019.I will not bring my loyal business back to McNair Tax Service if its customers are being yelled at in aggressive tones. Thats unacceptable.

First off, I want to thank Ms. Stanlee for personally responding to my emails quickly and being patient while I ask her a million questions. McNair Tax Service is the absolute BEST! Turbo Tax wanted me to pay a $80 filing fee in addition to owing $500+ for 2020. She was able to get me a better refund and better filing fee. She is definitely someone who knows what the assignment is and how to execute!I would definitely recommend this office to anyone in the South Bay area!

I started going to McNair in the 90's he has done my taxes over 15years, he's honest and very professional. My daughter who is now an adult, has been going to him for her taxes as well she is very satisfied.

I am really surprised that McNair Tax Services is not in this system. Mr. McNair is an excellent tax preparer. This is my second time using him for completing my returns and I say that I really like the professionalism that he portrays. His knowledge of the new laws and what a person can and cannot do is exceptional. The receptionist is professional and organized. I highly recommend them to anyone.

I used Mcnair years ago and would agree he is one of the best. My only issue is customer service. I have left 3 messages 2 on voicemail and one with the receptionist over a 3 week period. No return call. I call today and im told he is booked for 3 to 4 weeks out and if im okay with that than placed on hold to be told he said he cannot help me. Wow. A return phone call would have helped weeks ago. But it does not change he is a good guy and knows how to prepare taxes.
