I needed to get my nails done urgently, so I went to a salon that's usually not busy. I've been here before and knew not to expect top-notch quality. However, this visit will definitely be my last. Initially, things seemed fine; Tina introduced herself and directed me to the end chair. She kept calling me, "Hon!" I'm assuming short for honey. Imagine how you would feel if you were in my shoes, hearing these remarks from Tina: "You're single, huh? I can tell." "Your shoes are unsexy, get some sexy heels." "Your nails are beautiful, hon!" "No one ever called you beautiful before! Huh, hon? (laughs)" Following her comment, I could only say "wow." The few other customers appeared shocked before returning to their phones. I decided to put on my headphones. When she was done, Tina's parting words were, "Next time, wear some sexy heels and find a husband to pay for you, ok hon!" It was astonishing! Oh yeah, I forgot about the nails! Trash! Sloppy! Polish all over my hands.

I wanted to try it out for the first time to get a pedicure. While the lady was doing my big toe, she kept on pulling and pulling trying to get an ingrown out. I felt discomfort and told her about it but she proceeded to continue on. As I got home it looked red but didn’t think too much of it. A few days go by and my toe is purple and swollen. I wouldn't come back here again.

Nails came out beautiful BUT my nail tech guy had the WORST ATTITUDE! I literally asked him to clean under one nail and he got frustrated with me and said he can’t and I can do it at home. I had to ask someone else to do it. NEVER GOING BACK.

I’ve been coming to Holiday Nail Spa since 2009 when I moved to Hawthorne. It is consistently clean and the technicians do an awesome job. My FAVORITE is Ban! This man makes my eyes roll to the back of my head with his amazing massage during my pedi! Kathy, the Manager, is always honest when I ask her about a color or service and *The number one reason I continue to come back, is that the sterilize their equipment and only use the callous remover products on one customer then discard them, eliminating the chances of getting virus and infections. Is it a bit pricier than the others? Yes. Is my health worth it? Yes ma’am. If you’re looking for quality service and a clean sanitary shop, this is the place!Services: Foot massages

This place blows. My first time coming here and the woman who did my toes didn't remove my prior gel correctly. Instead of doing it the right way using cotton and acetone, she just drilled away what she thought was enough of my gel. Slapping the nail polish on top of gel that was still there. It literally chipped the new polish off an hour later. Then when I went the next day to have her fix it, I gave her the same color I used the prior day, she insisted I was wrong, put the color she thought it was and now I have two freaking different color on my toes. So annoyed! So much money and time wasted. Will NEVER come here again.

If you're coming for a pedicure ask for Ben. He's done my toes a few times, and always makes sure I'm happy with the color and service. Standard but deserves to be mentioned because he really does go out of his way. If you're looking for acrylics, go to Andy. He's also done my nails a few times and goes above and beyond to make sure my nails look like the inspo photo I bring in. Sadly, I can't in good conscious come here again and felt like I should share why to help others. I came in and asked to get my acrylics removed as they were over grown. The woman helping me didn't soak my nails or do any prep before hand. She took a cuticle nipper (nail clipper) and quite literally started to rip and pry the acrylic off my nails... after a few and being in agony, I asked for them to be soaked properly first and they obliged. They scoffed and were annoyed because to them, that takes longer. My nails were so ruined, I left without getting another service of paint, polish, or gel on top. I cried... the pictures speak for themselves.... and yes, Kathy the owner saw me and I did still pay for this service. $52 for a standard pedicure and for someone to destroy my nails. Kathy the owner even blamed me! Said it took so long because I changed my mind? Which I definitely did... After seeing what she did to my nails, I said I didn't want any additional services. Unacceptable and unless you have no other choice, do not go here. Terrible customer service.

The service from the ladies is amazing . Owner needs to get rid of KATHY if she doesn’t want to lose clients . Two of my sisters stopped going to this place many years ago. I wish I could find someone to do they great job the girls do so I didn’t have to put up with Kathy being ALWAYS so so rude! She’s just a bitter manager with poor managing skills . Over scheduling the girls , stressing herself out and then taking it out on the clients
