Normally I wouldn't leave a review but after seeing others with similar experiences I thought I would.I've had nothing but good experiences with Blue Zoo when it comes to their livestock, shipping, and customer support. However I must unfortunately leave a 1 Star review as both of my last two orders have resulted in fraudulent charges on my card within 24 hours of ordering and me having to cancel my card.The first time I thought it was a fluke but I ordered again last week and the next day I had fraudulent charges on my account. I intentionally used a card that I use for NOTHING else - yet sure enough unrecognized charges the next day....Others have reported the same issue and I've been unsuccessful getting anyone at the company to even remotely care about it.Anyways - hope it gets resolved! Assuming its an issue with the web security and nothing dirty on the part of Blue Zoo!

Ordered fish from them 3 times since October and all 3 of my cards got hacked. I used a brand new card on my last purchase and it got hacked the next day!

Their website is a bit outdated and I had an error where my order didn't go through but the payment did twice. Greg from Bluezoo called me the following day was able to confirm my order and refund the error payment. I only use paypal and haven't ran into any issues as far as my credit card being compromised. The shipping is fantastic and is in my opinion one of the best I've come across buying livestock online. It's the typical Styrofoam box with the double bagged plastic baggies for the livestock and heatpads as necessary. They include an acclimation guide and some airline tubing, dry food, and methylene blue as needed. The website says they ship Fedex but I've been getting UPS shipments which I very much prefer as Fedex can be terrible for overnight shipments. Maybe it's because I'm in California they ship UPS? The livestock were also in great condition. I haven't had any issues so far and I've ordered from them twice. The fish appear to be shipped in lower salinity at 1.020 and the inverts at normal tank salinity at 1.026. I do an observational quarantine for a few weeks before treating or adding to my display. Bluezoo has some of the best varieties of livestock online that you really can't beat. The corals are a bit pricey in comparison to other vendors so unless they have something you really like there are other places with better prices. It's honestly pretty interesting to see the differences in reviews.

Absolutely amazing experience. I have purchased marine life previously online, but this was the first time from Blue Zoo. I am blown away. All the fish, 6 in total arrived healthy and in very good condition. I had some issues regarding the availability of one of the fish, but Greg went over some of the options we had and he let me decide how to handle it. It was very refreshing. The fish came nicely packed. And the kicker...they include a drip acclimation pack and a pamphlet with directions for fish, inverts, and corals. This is now my store for all things reef. I love it!

Everytime I use this website to order I get chelated twice and my card gets hacked and I have to get my money back and get card replaced. The last time I figured out it was linked to this website I called figured the issue would be addressed yet it happened again. Buyers beware!!!

Terrible experience ordering from this website. Fish aren't bad usually can't get something I ordered but every single time I use this website I get charged twice for my order then my card gets hacked. I have called the company to make them aware but same issue just happened again. I will not be using this site ever again.

Excellent! Not only do they have a great selection, but the fish, corals and inverts arrive healthy and on time, next day air. I followed the drip acclimation process as described in the included kit. All are healthy and happy! Thanks!

They used to do a really great job shipping livestock many years ago. Over the last two or three years they’ve really gone downhill. They definitely do not have the same variety of livestock they used to. The shipments never arrive within the overnight time window, in addition, they don’t stand behind their guarantee. There’s one thing that’s for sure, they will keep your money once you spend it even if your life stock arrives dead on arrival and it’s their fault. I had this happen once over a year ago and decided to give them a second chance and it happened again the second time. I purchased over $300 and clean up crew, to have it arrive five days late and everything was dead. They blame fedex and give you a store credit, which expires. The irony here is that this is the second time I found their store, credit useless as they don’t carry the livestock that I purchased originally. This is a buyer beware situation. These people don’t care about the hobby or sea life and they don’t care about you and only care about your money. Go somewhere else. There is lots of other options on the Internet that are much better.

They used to be good many years ago but lately its become one of those buyer beware situations. Their shipping practices are horrible. I have had more than one instance where it took more than a week to receive live stock, in both cases it was doa. The only thing they guarantee is that they will keep your money. It doesnt matter how negligent they are, they will keep you money and offer a conditional store credit that expires in 12 months. That includes situations where they dont have the livestock you are looking for.

My shipment arrived with everything alive and healthy which was good. But I did not receive my order of bumble bee snails which was not cheap and costed 50 dollars. I Also receive a different fish than what I ordered with no explanation. I have left to voice-mails with no response back. And I also sent an email a week ago with no response back. Their voice-mail says we will get back to you within our business hours, but their website doesn't even disclose their business hours. It's says out of office Jan 17-23. Well today is the 25th.... still ghosted. What the heck!?? Does anyone even work here? I spent nearly 400 dollars!!!!! Therefore I am giving a 1 star rating which should be a zero star and will not buy from them again. !

Overall great experience with BZA. I'm writing this review a month into owning my livestock from BZA and are nice and healthy still. BZA sent me a sample of their food which was nice although none of my livestock seemed interested in. The other item they provided is an anti stress solution and an acclimation drip which was great because i was using the traditional method before and this method facilitated things. I bought a tiger pistol and pink spotted goby. The goby was a lot larger than expected but simply a beautiful fish. The pistol rarely comes out but always hear his snaps mostly during night time. Very pleased with this purchase and I believe I spoke with Greg who took care of as their was a mild complication with my order. My biggest concern was that the livestock would come with any sort of parasite but so far so good.

This is my first time ordering from blue zoo. I am very happy with the condition of my fish. They took special care to package and keep my fish warm. I will be ordering more fish and corals in the future. I had a very good experience.

First they don't answer phones, seems there are no staff ,except Greg ,my first experience I got a d.o.a ,took picture and email to them ,also call a leave a message no response one day after fish die ,waiting to see how long the rest will take ,I believe they will die ,and it seems Greg isn't committed 100% to is policy,
