I had a great experience at Silver Star. James and Jesse were incredibly friendly and helpful. The soft top on my 2018 E400 was stuck, and within a few minutes they were able to diagnose the problem. I'm very glad I found these guys and plan to take my and my wife's cars to Silver Star from now on.

After bringing my 2016 E350 here for the last several things I am happy to give them a five star rating now. I knew I had to get away from the dealer Now on schedule to get everything done as needed. The last thing they did was replace motor mounts. The engine was getting less and less smooth running, so now I am very pleased with the way this car is so smooth now. It's like a different car. I think it probably drives like the day it was new, again.

I wish I had stumbled upon Silver Star sooner! They're friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and reasonably priced. It's hard to find a good Mercedes shop in the South Bay but I had a very good experience here. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My family has been taking cars to Silver Star for 30 years. This review is long overdue. Had some challenges reaching James on the phone initially, but once I got him, we quickly established a day/time to have my car serviced. James is a great guy who is running an honest business. His mechanics know the ins and outs of Mercedes and BMW cars. This is a shop you can trust, which is most important when it comes to keeping your car on the road and in tip-top shape. Look forward to dependable service at a very reasonable cost. See you in 10K miles James and team. James is always very honest. Sadly today he told me that I would need to go to the dealership, he doesn't specialize in sprinter cargo vans. He has serviced my 500sl for 9 years and always does great work!

My 2012 E350 couldn't shift to R or D after starting. James did the job to replace both batteries the next day and we are very happy that it wasn't some huge transmission issue. Highly recommend this team.

There aren't enough stars for James and Silver Star. Professional, courteous, and ethical. I moved an hour away from him and still come back. I have tried other options closer to me but you just can't match the service, honesty, and fair pricing of Silver Star. Highly recommended!

If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!! Best mechanics out there I've ever seen. We've been taking our 2013 MB E350 there for a little over a year and they've done an excellent job maintaining it! They also have us a paper of what would need to be replaced for our next service and what the would need to inspect. They go through dealership standards at a very much lower price than a dealership cost. MOST HONEST GUYS OUT THERE!!!!

Honest and Professional !I bring my 2008 Lexus to James for all repairs. They are always very straight forward and honest. I only wish they were closer to my place in Manhattan Beach. I had brakes done as well as trouble shooting different things with my older Lexus. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement

James is a breath of fresh air. When most people have car troubles, their lives get turned upside down because we all have to get places. You feel vulnerable so it is amazing when you come across good people. He is extremely fair, kind, responsive and most importantly HONEST. I will keep coming back knowing I am in good hands.

James will make you feel like your car is in good hands. He is a car enthusiast himself. He waited for me to arrive on a Friday evening. He is patient, understanding and professional. I took my SL550 in because the hydraulic line for my ABC suspension failed and fluid sprayed everywhere. I was really nervous because I've heard horror stories about this suspension costing upward of 10k to replace. He almost immediately reassured me that this wasn't the case and when the job was done, it was less than 1k. That was 2 months ago and my car is riding like a brand new car. He will get my business again but hopefully not too soon.

We have been through a few shops and never got a good outcome for our C320. We were so frustrated that anybody who recommended a shop to us turned out not good. One day, i browsed through google maps and found Silver Star on top of the list. My wife and i went to check it out where we met James and Anthony. Anthony is the expert in BMW and James for Benz. James is the nicest, straightforward, reliable and honest guy. He will explain the repair from beginning to end- explain how things should work in between. So any owner understands how each part works and in tandem with each other. He only uses original parts and he has good people working for him and with him. He is not any other guy who only wants to repair what the symptoms. James made sure he did diagnostic first. Talked to us which one is the most important to do not like others who just wants money. We are blessed to find this dynamic duo and yes i will recommend their business to all honest folks out there. I don't want any crooked owners find them, they do not deserve it. Thank you Silver Star! We are enjoying the ride!
