I have known Steve since the opening day his shop was half the size every incident I’ve had. I have nothing but respect for the owner and his staff top notch workers. This review is not based on any of their auto body work. This my personal experience with their uhaul serves Rented a truck from this location on a Friday at 330pm so I could keep it until the next day. When I picked it up, the worker there asked how long I would have the truck. I told him I had selected the 24 hours option as I was spreading my move into two days. He told me he the following day he would only be there until noon. I asked if he had some place I could drop the key as I request a 24 hour rental. He said he could stay until 2. It felt as I had no choice and if I wanted to drop it off at another location I would get extra money. I agreed and left. The second issue that came about this is I am not sure who is in charge of the maintenance of these truck, but they need to be better about it. As I was driving the truck, it felt as if the steering wheel and the rest of the truck disconnected from each other. The 15 foot truck start waving through lanes, i could gain any form of control over it and and it felt like it was about to flip. Lucky this was late enough at night and the one car that was close me was able to dodge the truck. After what felt like forever, the truck came to a stop. I was able to drive it to a parking lot close to an actual uhaul location. I was in shock and so was my wife who was in a car in front of me. Left the truck and went with my wife as she was having trouble processing what happened. The following morning I was able to drive it to the nearby Uhaul center. Explained my situation, the worker checked all he could and when he popped the hood he said it looked like the truck had really low power steering fluid. He could not find leaks, which he inferred it probably meant no one had check it in a while. The worker said that was his best guess, and as they had no other trucks and I needed to move the same day. He filled it up, I test drove it and that seemed to be the issue. I call the person here who I got the truck from, it felt like he was just passing the blame. Just said no one else had had issues and he had never had issues with the truck. I mentioned I would not make it by 2 as he wanted due to the incident the night before and having to get the truck checked out, and then he said it would be OK to drop the truck after hours and to leave the key in his office. I asked if there was a box or anything, he repeated once again to leave the key in his office. I was really angry about the whole situation and still had to move as the day had been delay a lot already. I went about my day and focus on moving. When I dropped off the van, that worker was still there. I told him I was not happy all that happed. He had a person next to him, took the key and gave me a really insincere apology and said to call the uhaul help line. I left as I felt there was nothing else he was going to help me with. I called Uhaul, submit my complaint. If you rent a truck from here make sure you ask about the maintenance on the uhaul truck.

I highly recommend Palace Body Shop!! I spoke to Steve and schedule an appointment, he was very professional and accommodating with my schedule. He's the first to know when I need any vehicles repaired, and he will always provide advice with any repairs. The dealers will always say they recommend to replace parts of the vehicle but when I Steve take a look, he says no, it's not necessary yet, always saving me money. His fees are very reasonable, with teenagers driving , I had to bring in a few cars. I also recommended my mother-in-law to take her car and she was very impressed with their work!! I make sure my friends and family know where I had the repairs done for our vehicles!! Thank you again Steve for your honesty and service. Teri

They have countless key helped many of my clients and always been a pleasure to work with. My own vehicle was worked on by the mechanics and I will only come to them because of their integrity, clarity, honesty and customer service. I would recommend these guys to anyone and everyone.

I took my car in for some body repair work. I had a bumper ad fender replaced. Car was at shop for over1 month before they started working on it. I went there several times throughout to check the progress but still things were moving slowly. When they said car would be ready , I went and parts weren’t on car and now my car was vandalized supposedly by an ex worker. So now my car has to be painted to repair the damage. So that was done and I picked up car. As I looked at car I noticed that the color was all wrong. I texted owner Pete telling him that it’s the wrong color it doesn’t match. I said get the right color and you need to fix it, he says okay. I take the car back one Saturday morning and he says that the color is correct and it only looks like that because it’s new paint. Mind you, when the car was damaged, it was nearly the whole car. Only part not touched was 1 door and back fender. Pete decided to just paint the damage and with the wrong color everything but this 1 door and fender and half of the back bumper. Ive taken the car to 2 different places and they said he painted with the wrong color and didn’t do a good job painting. I paid him cash for the services and will never return to this shop again. I’m hoping this review helps you decide to rethink taking any car to get repaired at this location unless you want to pay twice by taking it somewhere else after he returns it to you so that your car is done the right way.
