Good bank have been with them since Kaiser in Pasadena. But now from Seal Beach a little far to drive. Clean friendly people. Good parking and shops near bye.

Homestreet Bank has been a constant supporter of the Community of Harbor City. All off there staff @ the Harbor City Branch are always courteous and professional. You can tell that they truly appreciate your service and as President of The City lights Gateway Foundation, I truly recomend Banking @ Homestreet Bank Harbor City.

I managed to lock myself out of my account online and wound up keeping a lady named Jessica on the phone trying to get me back online and changing my password. Her name should have been Patience, cause I kept her on the phone 30 minutes. She never mind that kept messing up and we started over and over. Thanks for your kindness and willingness to persist in helping me get back into my account. Thanks Jessica.

UPDATE: Will the real manager please stand up? When I wrote my review I was surprised to get a call and letter from the bank regarding my review. I tried several times to address these fees and was frustrated because I was getting stonewalled by the clerks and someone pretending to be the manager. Homestreet has this policy where its up to the branch to waive fees and nobody in this office would do anything about my overdrawn account until this review. Someone in corporate saw my review and let the actual manager of the branch know of my situation. When I talked to the actual manager I was able to explain what happened and she waived the fees. This was the first time I felt like someone actually listened to me which was a relief. While I am happy to get this situation resolved I am not happy regarding the way the clerks handled the situation. I don't appreciate being stonewalled after I explained that PayPal is making an error. I also don't appreciate being led to believe that I am speaking to the branch manager when I am not. The situation was handled, I got the fees waived but I fought tooth and nail for it. I am happy with the way Homestreet as a corporation handled this as well as the branch manager but the clerks in this branch literally made this a lot harder than it had to be for me as a customer. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Charged me $60 in overdraft fees for a $10 donation! I tried to explain that PayPal wasn't supposed to pull it from this account and that I was on vacation so I didn't catch it but they didn't care. The bank refused to waive any of the fees. I talked to customer service, a rep in the bank and the banks manager and they all refused to waive any of the $60. I've never seen a bank be so unwilling to work with the customers. Stay away from this bank especially if you get hit with an accidental fee and want them to work with you!

Opened my account based on a money market account promo. Nice open feel to the office and the staff was very friendly. Met with the branch manager who kept me engaged throughout the process and introduced me to the staff. Great place to get a better return without having to resort to online only banks. Highly recommend.
