Our sweet dog Chip enjoys many days playing with his friends while I am attending nursing school. He has been loved and cared for by their awesome staff. Chip loves Canine retreat, and so we do too!

It has been a wonderful experience having our Golden Retriever Retro join the Canine Retreat pack. Especially on days that rain and daylight savings combined when we are unable to take him to the Doggie Park. He loves other dogs so much being able to drop him off in early AM before work and pick him up after work is truly a God send. The staff are very professional and he is so happy there. Me too, always relieved to see him on the Webcam whenever I want while he is there. So we dicided to put on our Sailor Cap and write our favorable review. Also, check out his is a smile after a fun day there, leaving to greet us you can't fake that type of photo, and look at his smile everytime we pick him up or drop him off he is one Happy guy to be there.

So far I give this 4 stars. Not 5 because they don't feed the dogs - although if there was a special need I got the impression something could be worked out. Dogs are grouped mainly by size with a temperament pre evaluation so we've had no problems. You can check in on the action via webcam. Our dog is in the house a lot and the relatively unstructured dog interaction seems good for him. Good for him to socialize on a dog to dog level. The staff seems nice enough and yet keeps things pretty safe.

Our pup loves Canine Retreat and they take excellent care of him. They pre-screen all dogs before accepting to minimize any conflicts. Highly recommended!

Great professionals that take good care of your pet. The facility gives dogs plenty of room to move around and socialize with other dogs, or find a corner to chill when the dog needs to take a break from socializing.

We boarded our 6 month puppy for five nights recently. Needless to say we were worried about leaving him for so long because he is young, but the staff at Canine Retreat is absolutely wonderful and eased my anxiety from the get go.Shiloh did well and he was in the best care! He got to socialize with other dogs and I was comforted knowing there was a handler with the dogs at all times and if I needed more assurance I could look on the webcam or call. I will definitely use them again!

From the moment I opened the door I knew this was a great place for my pups. I was greeted warmly and I think I needed reassurance more than my dogs, Gracie & Jon Snow. They both passed the socialization and I soon took them to their 1st daycare on a Sunday. They’re already friendlier dogs on their walks and with strangers they don’t bark as much. They also slept well! I feel really confident to leave them at Canine Retreat for a quick getaway trip! They are making friends, too! Thanks, Canine Retreat! Everything has been thought of regarding your dog, well organized and intelligent, warm-hearted professionalism! A 10/10 or maybe an 11!

The staff seemed friendly, I'm sure they all care for the dogs, and the place seemed relatively nice and fun for dogs. My dog just "failed" the evaluation. She failed because she jumped a small vinyl fence trying to get to a waiting area, she knew that I was in. The evaluation is completely counter intuitive and makes me question their thinking in how they do it. They do not let you go back with your dog to be introduced to a strange new place. So strange new people take anxious dog into strange new place, dog knows owner is behind a fence she can jump and tried to jump to me. Fail good bye we don't want your business. Obviously my dog was scared and just wanted me to accompany her in the transition. 100% if I walked my dog into the play area she would get comfortable and stay, she was completely set up to fail and not even given a chance. She's not aggressive at all, just wanted her dad to accompany her into the play yard.

I took my dog here and shortly after, I was called to pick him up because he had been attacked, I was in shook because my dog is never aggressive. When I asked what happened they just said they hadn't seen the attack but that ge was bitten. The reason I feel comfortable calling this an attack is because there was no fighting marks on my dog and no other dog was injured. I looked through to the camars and there was far too many big dogs in such a small space, it looked like they had over booked, so when I got there they said there they said there was nothing they could do and that I should take him to the vet.. as a dog parent I was outraged that they couldn't even tell me what had happened. They said the reason was because the cameras don't record and pretty much being under staffed. The next day I get a call that they MIGHT BE willing to pay a parcial amount of his vet bill. When the least they could've done was take care of his medical bill. I hope you're as outraged as I am, because I left my dog here thinking he was safe just to have to end up taking home with a huge gashes after being attacked

PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE My dads dog was attacked here, he wasn't even in they're care for 2 hours, when he got a call to please come pick him up because he was attacked. When he got there they said that they had no clue how it had happened because there was no video and no other dog was injured. So I other word they didn't know who attacked our dog because he didn't attack back..? Am not sure what was going on with they're cameras but it seems like they must not playing enough attention to the dogs not have a clue how it happened. They didn't even have anyone to attend to his wound.
