“Excellent taqueria, old school! The carnitas were the sh*t, and the chili relleno burrito with carne asada was also excellent. The customer service was lacking (woman serving us seemed quite grumpy) and could have used a sprinkle of sale but worth the experience. Portions were large and quality good. Will definitely visit again.”

“Was looking for some outer skirt steaks and checked Google maps for a butcher shop close to Hermosa. Didn't know we recently acquired one a stones throw away. Went in, and Albert is an awesome guy. Very knowledgeable and super friendly. Picked up some marinaded pollo, which I grilled up last night. It was fantastic! I'm looking forward to picking up some outer skirts (he was out) and also trying some denver steaks. Oh, and the local beer selection was nice to see.”

They sell meats,fish,sandwiches,pasta,cheeses, beverages.
The sandwiches are fresh,one size only,generous portions,they don't skimp on ingredients.
The staff is friendly.

“This place is a place I've been coming to as a kid. So many memories and it's crazy some of the workers are still there after all these years. All the workers are nice and sometimes the cashiers will do small talk with you. It may be a small place but you can find good food there. You got to have the carnitas, so bomb. You'll find the price higher than a grocery store but I'm going to support this local business.”

“I love getting my meat here for the quality and prices. They keep most of their meat in the locker, so when u go in. If you don't see what you want, ask. Because they have it but don't always have it out because they like to keep mostly everything in the meat locker/ freezer.”

Only reason to give four stars, conveniently there's a dollar tree next to it. Went there twice only because the lines at the dollar are ridiculously long. “We are staying in Manhattan Beach for a month and looked for a local butcher. Found Manhattan Meats and stopped by. It’s a combo meat market (you pay for your meat purchases at the meat counter) and a small market, so very convenient. I picked up their housemade sausage and we were very impressed, fresh and very well made and seasoned. Their steaks and 1/2 pound burgers looked amazing, as well as their fish selection. They also had natural chicken, rotisserie chicken and seasoned kebabs. Love the old-fashioned customer service.”
“This butcher shop is one of the best, and where they always serve you kindly, the prices are good and their specials even better, the gentlemen are respectful and fast. They have everything you need at an affordable price, the meat or chicken never stink and never rot like at Northgate Market. They give you pieces in poor condition, it has undoubtedly become one of my favorite stores!! They have a variety of products from Mexico and Colombia, Mexican sweets at good prices, don't get carried away by the bad comments made by the competition, know that it is a clean and worthy place to visit and spend your money every day. The Hacienda meat market never smells like a stinky butcher shop and smells like cleanliness every day.
