The staff and vets are so kind, knowledgeable, and understanding with my dogs! They give my reactive boy extra grace during his appointments (as long as he's muzzled, obviously) which has helped him get much needed vet care. They're also very responsive via phone, which has helped on multiple occasions.

called ahead to get pricing & schedule a microchip insertion, $61 is what i was told. walked out paying $111.50 because they charged me an exam fee. that would've been nice to know ahead of time... what a scam

The WORST vet I’ve ever had to deal with and his staff is beyond incompetent ! This is the 2nd time I’ve left there asking my self why I even went back there , I’ll never trust another one of my fur babies to them again. I would pay TRIPLE else where to a REAL vet with a caring staff that actually knows what their doing than cut corners financially and endanger my pets !!! I rate them an F and it’s not for fantastic …. This place is on EMPTY of compassion … ? IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS seek another veterinarian office !

Great staff. Prices more reasonable than 4 other vets I have tried.

Fast and effective. I went in for the shot clinic for the cat. Prices were expensive but so is everything these days. Cost about 40 bucks for cats shots.

I have been using this clinic for 20 years or so. Great Veterinarian, great staff. Cost is resonable. Make appointments.

Not happy with this vet and will be taking my animals elsewhere from now on. Took my cat in for abcess surgery and his abcess wasn't even drained and he was given back to me with dried blood all over his head. I cleaned him up at home but within 2 days his abcess had swollen badly again and they wanted to charge me again to even see him.

We started with Lacey Animal hospital exactly 10 years ago. We adopted our first dog from Kings SPCA and chose Lacey Animal Hospital as the vet for our sweet boy. They saved him from parvo soon after we adopted him. We have adopted two dogs since then and all of them go to Lacey. Unfortunately we had to put our sweet boy, Gage down on March 1. It was very unexpected and we were shocked and distraught. I cannot praise them enough for how well they handled everything. They let us know the urgency to say goodbye before he coded out on us but they still gave us a few minutes on our own to say goodbye and hug and kiss him on him before euthanizing. When it came time to the euthanasia the doctor was so incredible at explaining gently how quick and painless it would be for him. That meant everything to us. She was was so respectful and soft spoken about it and never rushed us once. They also gave us a few minutes after he passed to say goodbye which was nice. They even came into the room and remotely allowed us to pay so that we didn’t have to go into the waiting room. After we got home and we were finally able to talk about it we both said as awful as the whole day was we were so grateful for having the best vets in town. We picked him urn up today and they have prepared a card for us along with paw and snout prints. We cried of course but again, so grateful for people that care to do this for the pet owners who have to say goodbye to their sweet babies. Thank you so much Lacey Animal Hospital for the incredible work you do. The Paz family truly appreciates all of you. Jack and Lola will be in to see you all soon for their next appointment. Thank you guys!

Absolutely the worst veterinary hospital I have ever visited. I Have 4 pets that see the DR only for annual exams and Vx updates. Otherwise, anything else the pets may need, I refuse to let this staff handle. They are lazy. Unable to read charts or names correctly. The refused to prescribe my kitten pain meds after her spay with H.O.P.E. rescue because they haven't seen my kitten in 5 months, EVEN THOUGH, their annual exam is up to date for her. The DR is money hungry and wants to charge you for every little thing. If you need to take your pets to the vet, definitely think about going else where. This office lacks intelligence, reading skills, customer service and professionalism, and will hold your records hostage after request of them. Garbage.

I have this 10 lb Chuhuahua/Terrier mix of some sort that my Daughter rescued from a dumpster when he was a tiny puppy. Years later, he's a father of nine, including a litter of three from his own daughter. I knew it was time to get him fixed, quickly haha. I called Lacey Animal Hospital and explained the situation to the lady. She asked if his shots are up to date. I said, no, he's never been inside a vet before. She said, he needs to get caught up on his shots first. I said, OK, how much are we looking at, for everything, shots and alteration? She said It should be around $300. I asked, that's for everything? She said, yes. I said, good, lets get started. I don't know if this was miscommunication or an intentional bait-and-switch, but two separate vaccination appointments, a blood work appointment, and the actual surgery added up closer to $940, over about 3 months. Now, everybody there was very friendly and passionate. There was very little waiting around in the lobby. They were quick but thorough. If this is the going rate for all this, they did a very good job. I was just very unhappy about the miscommunication in the beginning, intentional or not.
