The technicians are not to trust! I went in for a brake job on my car and came out with a check engine light on. It turned out someone disconnected one of my sensor cables making my check engine light to turn on. (Like really you had to pop my hood to do some rear pads and rotors?) What an unprofessional thing to do! Please train your technicians better and train them to STOP messing with people's cars.

disappointed with the service I received. I was charged a significant amount for what is simple fix, only to find out that the part installed was faulty and caused my car to not start when putting gas. I ended up going to another mechanic who replaced the part and demonstrated that the initial part was not functional and was able to fix the problem for way cheaper. Even after calling, I never received a refund for the faulty component or any update.

I RECOMMEND this place!! I’m still new here in hanford so when I went here. All the employees there were amazingly nice and super helpful. They knew the problems right away and fix it. Which it was the STARTER. The total of it was super affordable. Surprisingly I only waited for 40mins. Let me just say, I can tell that they love there job including helping there customers. 10/10

Recommended by a friend. Courteous and very helpful on the phone. Employees are respectful. Shop is one of the cleanest I've ever seen. Got here as soon as they opened and got right in. Unfortunately I have one of the newer Freon units which is more expensive to service but some places won't even take it because they don't have the technology to work on it.

Highly recomend this place to anyone looking for a good mechanic or a fast one ,my car's check engine and traction control light came on on my way to work and I was freaking out called Gios to see if they can get me in today by some miracle they were available took my car in for diagnostics and they called me so fast and throughly explained what was wrong, gave their input and options of what could be done and the prices and was told they would have my car done by the end of the day and they have a one year warranty! I just picked up my car and it feels and drives so smooth! Will update this in a couple of days but I’m confident that my review will be the same! Excellent customer service will definitely take my car only here now!

Came from stockton to work for solar and my car was way overdue for an oil change. Called around everyone didn't bother gio the owner said "Come on down, I was in and out within 30 min" for locals and people passing by don't hesitate to stop by. Clean shop as well!

This was my first experience with Gio's Smog & Auto when taking in my car in. Close relatives of my fiancé would recommend him and I now know why. The owner was upfront with everything he does, gave a detailed summary of the issue, sent me pictures of additional issues he found and with the pricing and explanation, we happily went through with his continued service. IMHO, I would go here again and continue to recommend him to whoever has auto issues because of this wholesome experience
