I just have to give a positive review for a few employees. The first one is Jesse! I went to Home Depot on Sunday with my uncle & husband to get some wood for a project. Multiple employees ignored us & after asking a few for help, Jesse was just passing by & helped us very quickly & efficiently! He was very nice & helpful! Today, I had to go back for some more wood. We had a similar situation as Sunday, but this time we got help a little quicker. This time we had Gabe helping us out! He was also very nice & helpful. These guys are exemplary employees & I hope they get a raise (even if my opinion doesn't matter)

This used to be the best place to go for my yard and gardening needs, but in the case of my latest visit, it was not. First of all, it's nearly impossible to find a staff member to help you, and if you do, it's unlikely they will be able to help you in the department you need help in. No one in the garden department knows anything about any of the plants they carry, and they also can't tell me if they carry a plant I'm looking for. I understand there is a staff shortage around this town, but since that has been going on for so long, it would be nice to have a button in each of the main departments where we could press it to get a question answered, even if we didn't get to talk to a person.

Okay I don't shop here but the day I do in this happened. I was buying lumber in the tag said $2.69 in when I go to check out it's $25 bored . It was a Housel and the manager I spoke with was like oh well that's the price for the bottom boards. The price for the lumber you want is above and you can't even see it in the picture, so how am I to know if somebody don't shop here that's the price above the item that I'm looking for not the price on the item itself. Thank you Home Depot.

Applied for numerous positions for this location. I reached out numerous times and got in contact with an employee to call the week after the next week and before I knew it I finally reached someone and was hit with "there are no more positions" wack ass Home Depot.

This place makes me sick and If I could give a no star I most certainly would. Where should I start. First off, horrible customer service. My girlfriend purchased a gas grill for Father's Day, bless her heart, and we never received it. Their excuse is the single van they own is reported stolen and they have no estimate on when they'll get a replacement. Instead of updating us with that information, we had to call and the young lady who worked there had no clue what she was talking about. Long story short, two weeks and no grill. I mean eventually all these 1 star reviews should be a problem. Just throw the entire Home Depot of Hanford away. V/RAlonzo

Great garden center. Lots of plants and trees. Definitely geared towards contractors which is great. Inventory is off quite frequently. Small products could be organized better. Overall good quality and great return policy. Pro rewards are a must to keep track of purchases. Definitely better than Lowes app.Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank dreamed up The Home Depot from a coffee shop in Los Angeles in 1978. Avid DIYers, they envisioned a superstore that would offer a huge variety of merchandise at great prices and with a highly trained staff. Employees would not only be able to sell, but they would also be able to walk customers at every skill level through most any home repair or improvement. With help from investment banker Ken Langone and merchandising guru Pat Farrah, Marcus and Blank opened the first two Home Depot stores in Atlanta the following year. The 60,000-square-foot warehouses dwarfed the competition with more items than any other hardware store. But the heart of Home Depot was the expertly trained floor associates who could teach customers how to handle a power tool, change a fill valve or lay tile. It wasn’t enough to sell or even tell — associates also had to be able to show. Soon, The Home Depot began offering DIY clinics, customer workshops and one-on-one sessions with customers.Marcus and Blank implemented a customer “bill of rights,” which stated that customers should always expect the best assortment, quantity and price, as well as the help of a trained sales associate, when they visit a Home Depot store. These commitments were an extension of the company’s “whatever it takes” philosophy. But that philosophy extended beyond the store walls. After The Home Depot went public in 1981, Marcus and Blank made a commitment to give back to the communities where their stores were located. Following through on that commitment, legions of Team Depot volunteers, backed by The Home Depot Foundation, work tirelessly on their own free time to help our nation’s veterans and communities across the country. From those two stores in Atlanta, Home Depot has grown to more than 2,200 stores in three countries, but in every store, our goal is the same: to earn our customers’ respect by offering the highest level of service, the broadest selection of products and the most competitive prices. As Marcus says in his and Blank’s book, “Built From Scratch,” “At the end of the day, we’re in the people business.”

Luis was extremely helpful and kind. He went the extra mile to make sure that I had everything I needed and even helped me to my car to load a few heavy items. Such a great experience and made my day!

Hi there,I had the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER AT YOUR STORE.My order number is H1073-115868The order was placed 01st of Mar 2021.. I picked up 110 pickets next day and they were out of 30.Since than it comes and goes.I had called earlier today in the morning to pick up rest of the 30 and what ever 170 of the extra one they have at store and confirmed with the lady at the desk over the phone.I wanted to place an order for other 270 the lady ask me to come in person and pay for it for the order since I need it to b delivered.I came after work driving 40 miles from my home town AVENAL with the trailer only to find out that there is none available for me to pick up.And when I mentioned to the supervisor name CASSANDRA she simply ignored me and told me that their is nothing she could do.On top of that return the money for rest of 30 pickets and basically kicked me out.I want you to confirm this with the person CASSANDRA if everything I said is correct or not. Please,I really don't want this happening to the other customers too.We already have Lowe's next to Home Depot if this the way it's going to b .. I'm done with Home Depot.I'm pretty sure loosing one customer won't make a big difference but I feel really disrespected to went over their for nothing and got her rude behavior.Their is a lot of good people work here fir years I see them all the time .. but this lady really needs to b trained again from getgo..It just take one fish to ruin the whole tank.I want people to know that we pay ..Home Depot to get our stuff not getting anything for free and we still get disrespected.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I placed two orders online with Home Depot. One on 4/29/2020 and 5/3.. l received two emails for both my orders are ready for pickup and in the emails it gives me a date l have to pick up by. One date 5/29 and the other 6/2. A couple of days later l get a reminder email to pick up. Then the next day l get an email update saying l have 7 days to pick it up and my new date was 5/12. Today is 5/6 and l get an email saying today is the last day for me to pick up my orders! Wth!!! Never once did Home Depot send me an email l had to pick up my order by 5/6. They send me an email that day saying it's my last day to pick up my orders. So l noticed they're hours were closing at 8pm because of covid. Recently they're hours were closing at 6pm because of covid so l couldn't go after work and the mornings l didn't have time to pick up. Then they switch back to 8pm. THEN l get to Home Depot and curbside was blocked off. So I called and spoke to a girl and said curbside was done at 6pm but no where in the email it says that just store hours, and after 6pm l had to come into the store. I then asked her what happens to my order if it gets cancelled do l get a refund. She said yes and told her l couldn't come down because l have a new baby and just got off work and that today was the last day for me to pick up my order or it will be canceled. She could of offered to bring it out to me as good customer service especially with everything going on right now with the covid. No one really wants to go out in public and me being a healthcare worker l don't like to go out too much in public. She just apologized and we hung up. So disappointing! Will be going somewhere else!

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. No one here is not helpful at all. I asked if they had a certain item in stock and they sent me to the wrong aisle. To top that on my recent visit, I asked if they had fans/air conditioners in stock to a group of workers that were just sitting down hanging out and the response I got from one of them was " no I don't think we do. I don't pay attention to anything here " while the other worker helped. I also do not like the fact that everywhere I go the workers are just hanging out doing nothing but having a chat and talking about wanting to see if one has single friends because they want to hook up with someone. Please let them know what they should be doing besides sitting down thinking this job is just for chilling. Also, not to mention I was literally on hold for 25 minutes on the phone for someone to answer and then for them to laugh and hang the phone up then I had to call again and wait another 15 minutes for no one to answer.

Hit or miss with the staff if you can locate them. The older people seem to be more helpful while the younger avoid you like the plague. Don't count on them to cut the wood properly unless you are right there watching. They messed up $150 worth of wood a couple years back for me. The prices are similar to Lowe's but sometimes you get a better deal. I love the military discount but I don't like how rude they are if you are a spouse about it sometimes. The customer service desk is great but most other departments are slow or they page people multiple times and no one shows up for over 20 minutes!!!! I do not recommend

Old building and help is spotty. But when you do find someone they are generally nice. I prefer Lowe's, 3 stars.

***BUYER BEWARE*** Ordered a Beverage Fridge online, with $55 shipping. Supposed to be delivered 08 OCT, updated via email to 10 OCT. 10 OCT came and past, and only after a phone call on my end, did I find out this item shipped to a different state by accident. Was promised it'd be delivered by 10 OCT. Call on 11 OCT, said it was out for delivery on 11OCT - of course never showed up. I was able to receive a refund, but what a waste of 5 days trying to get the fridge I could've just picked up at the store. Customer service response? "Sorry". UNSAT!!!
