This is the most charming place! We were treated like celebrities when we walked in. They had the best selection of pretty much anything you wanted and at reasonable prices. What an absolute gem of a place. Their garden was stunning. If you're in the area, check them out.

I used to go to Alena Jeans for garden plants, flower deliveries and fun things in the shop. I was a regular. Always enjoyed everything about Alena Jeans. I moved to Oregon 5 years ago, but I still have people I love on the coast side. I lived in Montara for 30 plus years. So I have very close peeps in the area. One of them was having a gloomy day. After I spoke with her, I called Alena to get her some flowers. Alena Jean answered the phone and.....SHE REMEMBERED ME! She delivered flowers THAT DAY (I called pretty late in the day) and made my friend happy which also made me happy. Great business. Great business owner. Thank you PS The flowers were awesome and lasted.

Walked into a gorgeous surprise while staying at the Oceano for my birthday! My wife had an arrangement delivered to our room, same colors as the flowers Alena did for our wedding in 2016! I cannot praise she and Kelly enough. Thank you for continuing to make our time in HMB so special!

There's nothing better than having fresh, beautiful flowers in your home to brighten the space, as a gift to let someone know you care, or to make a special occasion that much more radiant and memorable. In our case, we've had the privilege of having floral arrangements from Alena's for all of these things, including our fall wedding on the coast. Being local HMB folks, when we decided to tie the knot, there was no question we'd ask Alena if she and her talented colleague, Kelly, would create floral arrangements for the big day. Truly, their flowers were the most beautiful part of our wedding! I will let ya'll know though not to be disappointed in advance, because I don't think Alena and team do flowers for weddings as a standard anymore, so you may have to enjoy their incredible arrangements on a more casual level. The caveat is it may be worth asking though, as I did last year around this time. I had been enjoying Alena's flowers for many years, and couldn't imagine having anyone else create our florals for this huge event. So I walked in one day and was lucky to meet Alena in person. I let her know what I fan I was of her artistry, and asked if she did weddings. And this, besides her unmatchable work, is why this woman is a badass...I'm paraphrasing here, but loved her response: Alena furrowed her brow and said, "No. we don't do weddings anymore." "That's too bad." I said, trying to hide my disappointment. "The reason is ever since Instagram, everyone getting married wants those awful over the top boho feather things. Or demands recreations of pictures they see on Pinterest. Just...no. It takes the fun out of it." This is someone who knows their worth and isn't willing to be part of an overly micromanaged version of reality. Love it! I totally get where she's coming from and we chatted about it for a bit, and then a Cheshire smile appeared and she said, "Ok, you're my kind of people. You get it and I'll do the flowers for your wedding." I was stoked! I assured her I wasn't a bridezilla again for good measure, and that we wanted her design and style-we just gave the basics: colors, vibe, sizes...and so on. When I saw the flowers on the wedding day, they blew me away! Stunning. And just look at the pictures below. They don't come near doing justice to her work. Thank you, Alena and Kelly for making our wedding so incredible!

I have been gardening over 50 years now. I love floral arranging, gardening, and visiting nurseries and gardens in my spare time. Everything reviewers say about this fabulous Art grad, who has transferred her artistic and gardening talent (inherited from her parents as well), to floral design is true. She is generous, beyond reasonably priced. She is a BARGAIN considering her beautiful, often whimsical designs. If you walk into shops along Main Street in Half Moon Bay, several merchants have AMAZINGLY CREATIVE, unique works of art they have asked her to create for them on a regular basis. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS LOVELY ARTIST. She has not let her talents go to her head either. You will find a down-to-earth treasure at this beautiful shop/garden. PS I love her "Let's Make A Deal" room... always a fabulous bargain to be had.
