I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience at this local bank branch. I needed to deposit a cashier's check to pay taxes immediately, and it turned out to be an arduous and time-consuming process. The staff seemed unprepared to handle even basic transactions efficiently.I had to wait for an extended period, only to find that the process of depositing a cashier's check was unnecessarily complicated. The lack of friendliness and efficiency in their banking procedures left me thoroughly dissatisfied.This branch is not at all banking-friendly, and I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your banking needs if you value your time and sanity.

Zero star in fact. Been their customer for almost years. Open the account and close the account their attitude is totally different. They also make the process of closing the account difficult to make you give up I guess. Had to call, then write an email request, wait, and then sign back. They also trick you on the letter by stating "to Close the account make the payment and sign the acknowledgment below" but under the acknowledgment they put "Please KEEP my account..." Besides, they charge you the annual fee upfront so if you want to close the account you will have to pay, no such thing as pro-rated even if it's the first day of the year. And because I thought I have no balance I didn't check the statement for couple months now they said my account is in default (for $25)!? So never again!!!

A family member got her account hacked and when she realized her account was locked she contacted the back and they told her that they were doing some security updates and that for that reason online banking was not usable. The next day we came to the bank and spoke with Sheila the alleged “branch manager” after speaking with one of the tellers and they both said that there had been a check that bounced and that’s why her account was locked. When we saw the check we noticed it wasn’t the person who’s account it is. The name was misspelled and in the back it was signed under a different name altogether.They told us they would start an investigation but provided us with no further details. No access to online banking and no access to anything.When I asked the manager what’s the protocol for fraudulent transactions she said she didn’t know. She didn’t know what to do next or how long it would take to get the issue resolved. Because of the holiday we had to wait until Tuesday to come back and talk to someone and the same useless person told us they didn’t have any updates. Once again I asked if she could verify with someone else what to do and what was the next step to take. The whole time the answer was “I don’t know”. It has been two weeks and they are still “investigating” but now they want us to sign an affidavit and get it notarized which cost money and my family member has NO MONEY… there’s problem signing the damn paper but why wait two weeks to ask for it???Additionally, we also filled a police report and file an identity theft complaint with the federal government which CLEARLY AND UNEQUIVOCALLY STATES that filling such complaint and it turning out to be fake would result in federal charges against the person who filled it.What else do they need??????I do not do business in this bank but after this interaction with my family member I am sure not going to be doing business here EVER. I do not recommend anyone to do business here. They don’t know anything.Also, they don’t have ANY SECURITY PROTECTION WHEN IT COMES TO HIGH AMOUNT TRANSACTIONS. Literally anyone can take $1,000 and the bank won’t question or lock the account for security.

I've been almost an hour here waiting for a banker while there were at least three of them sitting there and doing nothing. They also serve with bad attitude. I wanted to give 0 STAR if possible. DO NOT EVER COME TO THIS PLACE

I dont like to give negative reviews but the customer service Is so bad here!!! I only ever come to this location if I have NO OTHER OPTION. If I can give 1/2 star I would and that would be because they are processing my transaction. Every single time I come here it's only ever to make a deposit AND I always feel like I've been put through the ringer - they scrutinize your check like its no good. I mean c'mon - a simple deposit!!! I am putting my money in the bank not taking it out! The tellers are NEVER FRIENDLY AND THEY NEVER SMILE OR GREET YOU . This is why I rarely use this bank branch. I would rather drive all the way to the branch in Downtown LA which is over 30 miles away so that I can get better service - the Downtown LA branch GIVES GREAT SERVICE, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS TREAT YOU WITH RESPECT AND A VALUED CUSTOMER from the Manager (shout out to Sherry) to the tellers. This City of Industry location gets 2 thumbs down . Go to a different branch if you have a choice.

Convenient location but the only down side is they only allow 4 customers inside due to COVID, so there's a very long line all day. The average wait time here is around 20~30 mins. I got tired of waiting so I drove down Colima road and found another branch near HK plaza within 3 minutes, and there's literally no wait line at all. So if you see a long line here, might be better off go to a nearby branch.

The Yelp reviews are definitely accurate for this branch. I walked in on a Monday morning shortly after the branch opened and it was fully staffed. Not one person looked up from their desk to simply say, "Good morning," much less offer to help. When I did ask for help, the two desk employees passed the buck to each other. One told me the other one can help me, while the other one reluctantly allowed me to sit at her desk. Stay away from this branch. The only helpful person is Rosalyn. Otherwise, the other employees are straight out useless and lazy, especially the heavy set one that sits in the front (Marissa).

I decided to take my business banking to East West Bank after years of just having a deposit only relationship our last bank. The last bank wasn't the least bit interested about my company and what they can do to help us grow (the branch manager(s) never called or visited to introduce themselves). Emily W. got our new account set up in no time! She definitely knew what paperwork was needed (which I brought) and had everything completed in about an hour. I'm looking forward to working with East West Bank. Hopefully if all goes well, I'll open another business account and move my personal account too!

Staff are not friendly and are not knowledgeable. They always have to ask for assistance which takes an unreasonable amount of extra time.

Yes, of course it is only 1 star. If possible, I'd give it a no wonder people don't like this branch. Very terrible customer service, I walked in around 4:40pm and staff are talking and they are not with any customers but no one wants to help. When they will be closed.. or I'd close my bank account and banking with other banks.. terrible
