1 star for their drive-thru that is very close to one of my houses. However, I really disliked my recent experience with their teller to withdraw money. I didn't get her name but it was a Hispanic lady on the heavier side that looked like in her 30s, dark hair. She talked to me as if I was trying to use a card that wasn't mine. Started off the interaction with an attitude of not wanting to help me. Then asking if I had ever used my card before. Like what? Telling me if the ATM didn't accept the card then she can't either. I didn't even use their ATM that day. Another wtf? She passes over the money (no envelope) and receipt without saying a word and turns away. Made me feel uncomfortable. Felt like she didn't want to help me and/or was judging me. Maybe if I came in dressed nicely I would've been treated differently. I'm not returning to this branch again

When you have more loan people then tellers, definitely a problem. I go to the bank in La Palma And they have absolutely great service in there. Most people work during the week so they only have Saturday To go to the bank. This is horrible. You guys need to change How you run this bank

I personally haven't walked into a Bank of America branch in the past 5 years since I do everything online or the ATM. Today I made an appointment to open an account for my daughter. Walked in and the person up front kept talking to another employee in Chinese. I give them a good 2 minutes before I interrupted and said I have an appointment at 1pm. He rudely told me to hold on a second and went back to his conversation. Guess customer service doesn't really matter now days. The first banker I got was not knowledgeable. Luckily she had to take her lunch and I got another person to help me open the account. Amber was great, she was quick and got us out of there in less than 30 minutes. If it wasn't for her, this would definitely be a 1 star experience.

I have been a customer of B of A since 2006 and now they put 5-10 day holds on our own paychecks. They said due to high number of fraud during covid. Ridiculous they should base it off the long standing relationships they have with thier customers. Very frustrating.

For those parking in the plaza of this BoA location - be careful. Today i witnessed the security guard (that works the morning shift) signaling which vehicles to tow to the towtruck drivers. There were two vehicles being towed. The parking lot was nowhere near full due to the covid-19 pandemic, so anyone parking there did not burden anyone from finding a parking spot. I thought it was quite scummy to be doing such thing during a pandemic while many people are getting layed off and going broke while he at least still has his job. Very scummy.

If I could give this place a zero I would. I used to be a teller at Bank of America in Huntington Beach by the way, but this place is the worst. Worst customer service. Staff is either not knowledgeable or makes things inconveniently difficult if they desire. Unfriendly. Plain rude, unhelpful, and LAZY. I only go there now to use ATM and it's pretty nice for me because there is almost always a security guard at the front so it makes me feel safe. BUT, my advice is if you need to utilize services inside the bank like tellers or someone to help you with your account...go to the one across from the puente hills mall on Azusa. This location needs a visit from district management on business practices and customer relations. Smh.

Worst Branch ever!!!! RUDE RUDE and I would even say racist!!! I am standing in front of an employees desk being ignored, while she continues to scroll on her computer open her inbox and answer a cell phone call in Mandarin. Fortunatelya very professional gentleeman names Ali came from the back and offered to help and was able to assist me. Just a shame because had CEcile bothered to greet me I too may of answered with my limited Mandarin from years of business oversees in China. Instead she chose to judge and ignore!! It's a wonder why BOFA SUCKS!! I have take all my kids to it other banks for their accounts, Investments and loans. Sadly big not for the direct deposit hassle at work, I would be gone too!! I suggest you find a local credit union for a professional approach.

This has to be the absolute worst service I have ever witnessed! If I could do zero stars I would! 6 employees behind desks/counters and no one can assist with changing a pin on a debit card. Ridiculous!! Opened my daughter an account here and her pin NEVER worked, and now it's 45 minutes wait because the only person that can change it, is counting the vault...I'm like wtf are you kidding me! They said well you can make an appointment...I'm like really to change a pin!

It only had 2 tellers, and a line of additional 4 customers waiting today. It should open up more windows when busy. They have more associates sitting at desks than at the windows sometimes. However the sometimes long-awaited service is friendly and very knowledgeable.

Wouldn't cash their own check that the Whittier branch cashed. Really rude. These aren't B of A's top employees who are working at this branch.
